I guess it's different if you live in Louisiana. Still I have a 2.8 and can get to a 3.0 if I don't get lazy.

I was very lazy just like you when I was a sophomore in High School, but my GPA was 3.4-3.333 (unweighted) and it didn't go up at all. It was pretty much the same after I graduated, which was 3.30 (unweighted).

If you just started school this year, I guess you still have nothing to worry about, but if in a year you're still stuck with 2.8 then you need to worry because then you'll probably have to become a mini-nerd to get that 3.0

One has to build that GPA-cushion early on in order to act like a clown and be extra sloth-like in their senior year.
 
Does anyone use pencils anymore?

I can't remember the last time I used one, let alone purchased one.

I picked one up at work today and realized I hadn't picked up a pencil for quite some time.

Well my mom was in the washing room, and I heard the door open and my mom was gone, which is very odd, cause she left her purse and didn't tell anybody about it. Then I saw my dad go outside, and comeback in a hurry and yelling for my mom, but she didn't answer, then he left. I was really worried, and went all over the place looking for her, and I couldn't find her, then I went upstairs and notice my little sisters are gone to, and my mom never goes anywhere alone, so I'm hoping she just went to do something real quick, but this is definitly not the weather to be doing it in, it's about to rain. What has me worried is I just heard a bunch of police sirens near by. I don't want to call the police, cause what if my mom just went to do something real quick, and I call the police for nothing. Right now I'm real nervous.


EDIT:My dad came back with some medicine LOL! So maybe it's not that serious, but my mom still isn't home.

First of all "Joker" I know what he means. Second, we have the best humor, and not to mention, JT is a little queer.
 
I doubt LSU has a separate minimum for in state and out of state. I'd work on getting it up to that 3.0. The people who get in under that minimum are probably just the athletes. Remember, that is the MINIMUM. That means even if you get that, you still are unlikely to get accepted.
