So I'm on about the sixth or seventh day of this self-imposed lockdown I put myself on (I'd been living way too fast and was getting exhausted from it beforehand, so I just sort of took the week to work and then just chill around the house at nights and collect my thoughts). It's not necessarily a good thing. Social support is probably the most important factor in a person's mental health. I'll admit, it's depressing for me to not really do anything at night for a week. It really makes me scared to get older and most likely have to fall into a rut like that permanently. Anyway, I think I'm going to go to some parties this weekend and get back into the swing of things,... just moderate it a bit. I've had a while to rest and get my energy back.

So I just heard this band on tv, Flobots, and had to download their single "Handlebars." They're a mix of alternative rock and alternative rap. Pretty good stuff. I'll have to check out more of them.

Haven't been around s2 since I went off to Tulane this year so I don't know this, but are you an MSU fan?

I skipped work today, went to the library at 9 and have sat on a computer from then until now writing a 12-page sociological research proposal from scratch. Surprised even myself right there. I didn't think I was capable of being so focused.

That sounds cool man. I personally wasted my time by going to school yesterday for a couple of hours. I didn't even remember to bring paper and there was nothing for me to learn either. It was from 6:30 - 8:30 pm too, so that was a bitch. I've got a couple of summer school classes since I changed my major.

Bio-Med Engineering. I had to catch up on some Biology courses this year, which made me delay taking the classes I'm doing now over the Summer.

Oh you misunderstood before. It was always Bio-Med engineering, I changed it from some other random major earlier this scholastic year.

Last day of school for me tomorrow. I have regents coming up in the next two weeks, but I'm not counting that.

It feels good knowing I'll be relaxing for next 2 months or so. Not to mention, I'll be a senior next year. If everything goes well, I'll be leaving school at 11:05 everyday.

IMO, it's retarded to have Art Finals. As if, that subject matters to the majority of students.

Yea, that happened to me this year with Graphic Design. It was stupid as hell. Taking that class was the second worst decision I've made, right after taking ap physics. I'm just lucky I didn't take it junior year.

Yeah, I know. I'm a Michigan State fan from birth (raised in Memphis but born in Detroit to a family of MSU-UM grads).

It's just good to see another MSU fan on the board, because during basketball season, I'm about as diehard as they come for the Spartans.

Artie Lange just had a good appearance on Letterman. The guy's dangerously unhealthy though. It's sad, but it really wouldn't surprise me in the least if he kicked the bucket in the coming months.

I'm taking Photo Editing for Business next year (the advanced photo editing class, after taking PEWD this year). Hoping I do well in that, since PEWD was so easy this year.
