<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I've had the biggest itch to go back to New Orleans for the longest time.
I know if I go back there now I won't love it
as much though. The reason I miss it so much is because all of the people who I go to school with back there. I went to Michigan but didn't get into it; I'm from Tennessee, but these people get old, and New Orleans to me, from day one to the last day of the semester, was consistently the best time of my life so far. I had friends from all spectrums. I'd go out and party, have a great time, and meet all sorts of attractive girls. It's deeper than that though. At an academic school like TU, I'd also have friends who I'd just chill and go to coffee shops, con, concerts, etc. with, and meet for lunch and have intellectual discussions. I miss the whole spectrum, because living in Memphis, you only get one of two stories, and those stories are either, "I'm a country hillbillie who always claims to be from Mississippi and likes to drink, smoke cigs, and throw keggers," or "I'm hood, I go to the Boss Club, and I like to smoke a hell of a lot of weed." There's not a lot of variety, not a lot of culture, and not a lot of interesting people or conversations.
I'm so full of anxious energy that I spent the last few hours lifting weights, doing situps and pushups, etc. I'm just exercising because I figured that if I exhausted my body it'd exhaust my mind.</div>
How far do you live from New orleans?
