1.) Because he's horridly overrated. Any center that shoots under 50% in college and doesn't shoot that many three's should get a huge question mark as to his NBA career. And 8 rpg? And a top 10 center prospect? What?


2.) He's a dumbass. Sounds like one, looks like one, acts like one. He acts more immature than Yinka.

3.) Yes, he was chosen over Bayless.

So basically, this guy is iffy on offense, pretty iffy on defense, and dumber than a rock.

That's the reason I used to love the Sonics so much. I actually went to a Cavs game with Shawn Kemp on the team. Only other game I've gone to was a Nets game, when Krstic dunked on Wade. Never really liked (or hated) the Cavs, though.

Shawn Kemp pwns.

If Shawn Kemp played against K-Mart, he would win before the game even started. (Possibly because of crack.)
 
lol, well it's nice to have unique fans on S2, a Kemp/Nets fan is cool.

I didn't catch much of Kemp's career, and didn't take notice of him in Orlando, but from highlights he had some nice power dunks.

He should've retired early, haha. Either that, or stopped doing drugs and having unprotected sex with multiple women...all while eating everything in sight.

I really believe I'm one of his illegitimate children. Swear to god, I look exactly like him, and dunk over dudes like GMJigga on a daily basis.

Is is just me, or are the majority of people here now Nets fans? The Nets forum seems very, very active right now.

Seems like theres always been a ton of Nets fans on here. Its just that during the draft and beginning of free agency a lot of fans form all teams come out of the woodwork (look at the Warriors forum and all the guys there who haven't been around in like 2 years).

BTW last night I got uber trashed for 4th of July and apparently came home and crawled into my mom's room and threw up all over the place. I have zero recollection of it though. Shes surprisingly not mad (this is the first time I've been caught drunk). Guess she doesn't really care since I'm 18 now and going off to college in a few months? and its summer? I dunno its weird though it takes a lot for me to blackout and a LOT to get me to throw up (but I was mixing drinks like crazy) and I never do really stupid stuff when I'm drunk. I was shocked when my mom was telling me about it lol.

The Nets forum was large even before the JBB merger and now the Yi trade has brought in even more posters.
 
Two words: eminent domain. The Nets posters are now thoroughly schooled on the Atlantic Yards issue, and will soon take over the entire Atlantic division forum. The Raptors, Knicks, and Celtic boards will be turned into Nets OT boards.

edit: lol I forgot about Philly. Yeah we'll take that too

Man, I got so drunk yesterday with a couple of friends. I can't even remember what happened. I know I didn't get laid, so that's pretty disappointing.

When I came home, I tried my best to fool my mom into thinking that I was sober, but I'm pretty sure she was on to me. Oh well.

Took a quick shower and went to bed. Woke up at like 5AM to find some scraps of food, while listening to the RHCP. After about an hour, I was knocked out again.

Probably 16? I don't usually like getting drunk or anything, but once in a while, you just have to.
 
Never been drunk. I've actually never even had alcohol. I don't understand the allure of drinking.

I can understand that. I'm not a huge alcohol guy either but I can see some of the allure of Wine I suppose.

Personally I like a good old Coke/Inca-Cola, if I want something unhealthy to drink. : O
 
I was 18 when I first got drunk. No clue why I waited, I guess getting drunk doesn't really matter to me. It's all fun, but I don't rely on it to have fun.

I also have <u>never</u> smoked anything, or taken any drugs, and I've never dipped.

I got drunk yesterday. I smoked cigarettes yesterday. I never smoke. My mouth taste gross today.
 
I hate it when I play online NBA 08, and I pick a normal team (Nets, Magic, Bucks, Wizards) and some other asshole picks an all-star team. What the hell is the point of playing if you're just going to go with the all-star teams?

Anyways, I still have fun kicking their asses with normal teams and making them feel like total douche bags.
