Two day weekend!


I need another vacation. I'm so tired and stressed from working, and I'm not even doing that much. Is that bad?

ditto. but i'm coming off of 12 straight, with a few 15 hours days in there. plus i haven't been on a vaca in three years.

i'm sooo stressed at work but i think i may be entering into the calm of the storm.
 
Went to see guy in avatar last night. 16W (the exit off the NJ Turnpike for the Meadowlands sports complex) was closed because a tanker overturned, so I made my way through the streets of neighboring towns like Wood-Ridge, Lodi, and East Rutherford, and came in through the back.

Show was awesome but it started late because of the accident. Ticket said 7:30, but he always usually goes on at 8:30 but last night he went on at 9:30. Played for three hours and 20 minutes and played 30 songs. Great concert.

Worst part was getting out. Parked on the third floor of the parking complex next to the Izod Center. Instead of letting everyone get out at once, they clear the first two floors and then they let us out. We were stuck in the garage for almost an hour, got home at like 3 and went to bed at 3:30, then got up at 7:30.
 
Is that Springsteen?

Playing with little kids can be pretty good exercise. My little nieces are over from NY and its been non-stop repetitive motions when I've played with them.

People who started smoking 40 years ago and still smoke today have an excuse. It was acceptable back then (students used to have a smoking lounge in high schools, at least my mom did) and it's incredibly hard to quit.

People who started smoking now have no excuse. It's completely retarded for people to start smoking.

I do it socially, and not very often. I'm not a huge fan of the taste, but sometimes I have one.
 
Finally got my housing for Rutgers. This is my home for the next year.

EDIT: Sweet. I just realized it's a one story building. Didn't want to have to deal with stairs constantly.

Well 40 years ago they started printing these warnings onto the packs. A lot of people probably figured as much and didn`t smoke.

Cpaw, I've totally changed my tune on the effect of media on Children. My sister just watched 21. She's wrote down all the number replacements (the exact ones from the movie), the hand signals (exact ones from the movie), and card values. She tried counting by herself, to see if she could do it without her fingers (dead serious). Now she's asking me questions about Texas Hold 'em.











She's 18.
