I just found out my theology test got a 14 point curve. So instead of a 66 I got an 80!:cheers:

Dude, I went to centennial for journalism. It's in East York but only 15 minutes (or less by subway) to downtown.

My parents almost got into a car accident an hour ago. Apparently, my dad stopped at a stop sign, and then proceeded to drive across the intersection with a speeding car heading right towards them from the left. My mom screamed, and my dad punched the gas pedal and managed to miss getting hit. The other car came to a screeching halt. Thank god that was the end of it. At the time, my pops thought that there was a stop sign on each side of the street, and he believed he had the right of way, but now it seems that he didn't. No surprise here, because he's been driving really bad lately. It's at a point where my mom is pretty scared to ride in the car when he's behind the wheel.

My mom is pretty shaken up right now, considering she was hit by a car 3 months ago...so yeah.


Thought I'd would share.

I'm glad nothing happened to your parents....maybe see if your dad is exhausted or stressed or anything...or maybe if you can do the driving from now on....

Glad to hear everything is okay man.

Similar thing happened to my paps. Exact same situation with a car coming from the left, except my dad was ahead of the stop sign line just a bit and didn't notice. And the car coming just rammed into our car, when he knew he could've dodged it. We were the ones that got hit, and the bastards from their car went in ambulances. Assholes got a bunch of insurance money.

Were you guys okay though? I mean my buddy was already going on past a stop sign when someone lady hit his car from the right cause she ran the stop sign, it was during day. He was driving all his friends, and noone got seriously hurt, but the whiplash made my friends neck, legs, and shoulders hurt for a LONG time.
