I need to vent right now.

Things have been building up over the past few months with how poor management has been at my job. They have no communication and things get so messed up that the blame is put on good people for doing nothing wrong. Tonight was the last straw with how much bullshit goes on there. I noticed when I arrived at work that my car hood wasn't closing correctly. A friend of mine that is an off-duty tech from our store walked in to say hello. I asked him if he could take a quick peak at my car and he told me he couldn't stay long and that I ask if I could step out for five minutes since he couldn't wait a half hour until we close the store.

I asked my manager if I could do so because I was worried about the car and my safety. Well, the bitch told me to get back to work and wait until we're closed. I told her the situation and she didn't care. I walked off noticeably pretty pissed off, but I didn't swear at her or anything. I went back to my department, closed a heavy ladder and as I was putting it away my friend comes over to me and tells me that the manager told him to tell me to leave. I went up to her and she just tells me to go home. I asked what's wrong now and she just keeps telling me to go home. I told her I quit and walked out.

So my friend was taking a look at my car and it turns out that the hood is damaged by someone likely attempting to get into the engine by force. He told me that had I attempt to drive home without a lot of duct tape the hood would definitely fly open and hit the windshield. What are my choices then? Stay and finish and possibly be killed or get kicked out and likely be fired the next day had I not quit and have my buddy help me out?

I'm going to report that fucking bitch.

Does anyone know what source to go through or should I contact the company HQ directly?

I had a successful interview recently with a company that pays more, so I'm not too concerned. I'm also going to apply at other places tomorrow as well.

Yeah.

I didn't want to quit until I had a new job, but this was just too much building up. I felt bad because for right now I'm out of work, but my wife told me that this was a long time coming because she's tired of seeing me come home ticked off. We both know I'll find a new job soon.

It's a bummer that it had to go down this way, but I think you'll feel better once you start planning your "fuck you!" send off once you get another job in the works. I'd love to wait until it was most busy, and then just walk off and let people have a miserable day.:devilwink:

For the first time...ever...I was unable to focus on sex. I couldn't get into the mood at all. Honestly, I've been so stressed lately with everything in my life (and the fact that I may have knocked her up)...I just couldn't get into it, at all. So embarrassing...
