should be if its something like

2^(3x^2) = the derivative of the power times the original formula.

So....

the above equation would be
6x * 2^(3x^2)

It's like the square root of 5x - 6, how do you find that? I understand derivatives but my teacher never taught us about square roots. There's like five problems with square roots too. lol.

x^2...

2(x)^(2-1) multiplied by what's being raised...so

[2(x)^(1) ](x)

[2(x)](1)
2x

Now just apply that method to whatever you need to do

Oh! and the square root can also be written as raising something to the one-half power. So after you chain it, you'll be raising it to the -1/2 power.

I made a kid cry, and maybe injured a kid in proxy playing basketball today.

I went straight from my mock trial practice to the rec, since it was getting late and I didn't have time to get back to my dorm. So I had my Obama shirt on still, because we were reminding people to vote today. This one kid made a three pointer (I wasn't even guarding him) and yelled out, "That's what I think of Obama". Next play down, he is driving in for the layup and he is injured and can't play no more. I didn't see how he got injured, but it's possible one of the black guys on our team stuck his foot under the kid.

Then the other kid, I was defending, and posting up, and he didn't appreciate the physical play, and was crying, "I'm going to hit you in the face if you stick an elbow in my chest again"...and then I just kept on playing physical haha.

It's like come on kid, if you tell me something like that, you're giving me an indication that I'm doing something right.

Your lucky I wasn't playing with you, I would have socked you in the face. People who throw elbows deserve it. I like to play physical myself too, and playing basketball is one of the only things that can piss me off so much that I want to start a fight.

I only throw a few elbows when I have a hack guarding me. After a few plays, he deserves it.

I wasn't throwing an elbow. I was sticking an elbow in his chest while posting up.

Still, I find that somewhat dirty. I wouldn't have hesitated in talking shit and giving you a good shove or punch. I like to play dirty myself, but I won't take it when others try it on me.

The more advanced verb conjugation in Russian is pretty crazy. Stress shifts and consonant mutation? Who came up with the idea of consonant mutation?

This is not going to be a fun week. Russian test on Friday and Economics midterm on Friday. I've got the cost of productions, monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competition, Finance, and unemployment stuff down pretty pat. Having some difficulty with the macroeconomic stuff of nation's income, cost of living, production and growth...and solid on the financial system.

If I get an A on this midterm, I will be in a solid position for a 4.0 this semester, since I have the A in Political Science and Russian on good lockdown, and already done with my journalism course for the semester.

Macroeconomics is so much easier than micro. Both of them are pretty easy though. I used to fall asleep in macro and still be able to answer my gf's questions after class

I find the micro stuff way easier than the macro stuff. But then again, I actually paid attention during class during most of the microstuff, while the macroeconomic chapters coincided with the start of the NBA season, so I've been watching the archived NBA games on League Pass during class. Once I read the chapters I think I should get it down pretty well.

Man, BG7 sounds like your rec league is fun. Our league at CSUF doesn't start til much later. Like around January...

But my high school league is starting up so I am holding my first practice this Wednesday. Last year we had a team who could not do anything. We lost our first 6 games, and one of my players got into a fight with my assistant coach. Then one of our games they actually listened to me (Which I guess is hard when I'm their age), and we won by like 15, which is impressive for a team who can't consistently make a layup and forget shooting. On the playoff qualifier, we went 3 and 0 and made the playoffs. Lost our first game in the playoffs to the team who would win the whole tourney by 1 on a bogus end of the game 4pt play with my player with his hands straight up and the other dude fading away. Who calls that shit?

But I'm excited to coach again. And bring new guys to a higher level and teach them basketball.
