Alain Vigneault announced that Kreider will NOT play tonight against the Hurricanes and that Daniel Paille will make his Rangers debut.

Vigneault said that the Rangers lines tonight will be:
  • Rick Nash, Derick Brassard, Mats Zuccarello
  • JT Miller, Derek Stepan, Jesper Fast
  • Oscar Lindberg, Kevin Hayes, Viktor Stalberg
  • Tanner Glass, Dominic Moore, Daniel Paille

Oh, look at that fourth line. My Daniel Paille jersey is already in mail.

The third and 4th lines tonight can be classified as bad decisions.

With what they have available now nothing. I guess just stating the obvious

I think the bigger thing is when Kreider is back Sunday Glass should be scratched, but we all know it will be Lindberg instead.

Team is coming around, and slowly has been for a couple of weeks.

Nice to see them build on the OT win against Vancouver. Quiet around here when they win lol.

Funny right...:).

I think most people left with Brooks because the team is done.

My "God damnit" was in response to what looked like a very bad Nash injury but he seems ok.

I wonder how many posts this thread would have if they lost? 4 pages?

There was nothing to bitch about in this game. As I said above, they played one of the best all around games all season. Even tools like Girardi and Staal played well.

Chuck whacking it off a win verses the crappy Canes. Puhlease. A team they've beat what? 19 out of the last 21 times and who sucks beyond belief. You would think maybe he would open his eyes to the fact that this team is a rag doll for the Craps now. That and our 7.8 million dollar forward has 12 f'n goals. Our 6.5 million dollar center has 20 points.

Nobody's celebrating, but it's always nice to get 2 points and a ROW when the race is this tight. Why so angry lately?

Be accurate. It is Chuck AND Prod AND Mess. We all feel the same way ABOUT THIS TEAM THAT IS IN 2ND PLACE RIGHT NOW. We don't think they are done like you, Brooks, and most of the posters on this board do. We also didn't think they were done in November the past two years like you did, but I digress...LOL.

Anyway, no need to get upset because people disagree with you...all good.

Of course Prod. If you root for your team, and think this 2nd place team isn't done, I guess that means we are saying they are the perfect team, don't need to make a move, and now are the SC fav...LOL. Clearly that is what we are saying Prod.

And why is dump so angry LATELY...that is funny...I hadn't noticed any difference...:).

All good though. Just happy to be talking hockey.

No reason to get excited about a team beating two lousy teams. Especially when the same overpaid morons on this team continued to do nothing and our stupid coach continues to play Glass. Gorton really needs to grow a pair of balls and release that scrub.

Actually Carolina has been playing well.

On top of that we are 2nd in the whole NHL in goal differential 5 on 5. What that tells me is if we get our mother f'ing PK straightened out we will be a very good team. Not the best or the cup favorite right now, but a very good and dangerous team. A team that with the right move at the trade DL could be right there with anyone in the NHL. But yeah to be a legit SC favorite we need a good deal at the trade DL I think for a legit scoring forward. As for the PK, hopefully Paille can help us there.

I will add it is great to see McDonagh getting back to that top level we all expect from him. On pace for 10 goals and 42 points now.
Also great to see what Miller is doing. On pace for 21 goals and 42 points now.
And Klein up to a +16. Team plays much better when he is in.
I also didn't like what I saw from Boyle last night, I would have McIlrath in for him here soon to give Boyle a little break.

Lastly...how the F are we going to get into Ottawa for the game at 3 tomorrow. Didn't get out of Carolina last night. I would think they need to fly over the middle of the country to avoid the huge storm today.

Only thing any points right now is doing is keeping this non cup contending team in it, in hopes that our incompetent new GM can actually fix this mess.

It affects the complaining so no need to be happy about wins. Of course we need the obligatory complaint about Glass.

You are funny dump...at this point you are so invested in this team losing I think you have no other choice than to root for it to happen...LOL.

If this team starts to win and makes a long run AGAIN it wouldn't be a good look for you...:).

Glass at this point is an embarrassment to the fan base. I can't believe AV is such a dumb bastard and so stubborn that he still doesn't realize this moron can't play hockey.

The Rangers going to the playoffs like it or not for some though those some will bitch and moan the rest of the regular season. Hopefully Boyle learned that if you get out of position behind the net you deserve an uncalled whack in the chops. The biggest difference the past two games is the Rangers are converting a much higher percentage of their offensive opportunities into SOG. Miller is playing like a first rounder. I guess I'm one of the only fan base members that doesn't see Tanner Glass playing as a problem.

I thought it was a good win. Rangers did exactly what they were supposed to do and beat a team that played an OT game the night before and was tired and without their star goalie. Going into the game I figured we would win, but it was nice to see them actually converting some of their scoring chances. Third period was ugly when they took their foot off the gas and simply played prevent, but other than that, the game went EXACTLY as it should have, and we got the necessary 2 points.

Happy they have won 2 in a row but it doesn't change the fact they can't contend for a cup unless Glass is cut and they make at least 2 major trades. The Paille move was a very good move. I can't believe moron Rangers fans are complaining thinking it will block Lindberg. No it won't. If you watched him last game, he's freakin smart. He causes turnovers. Unfortunately, Glass is on his line who couldn't finish himself with his hand.

I do not think they need to make two major trades. They do need to add a scoring forward to lengthen the lineup, but they don't need two major trades.

I also haven't seen anyone in here complain about the Paille move. Our PK has been pathetic since we cut Stoll, so adding Paille was a good move for that reason alone.

And I don't know dump, you say you're happy they won two straight...not sure if that's true since you are so invested in them losing like you have been for 3 straight November's now. You are in good company with Brooks though...and some of the fans on this board as well...:).

All good though. Have some fun on this snowy day. Let's all get along together for a few days as the Rangers get some wins. Sure there will be plenty of time for us to all bicker again...:).
