Only Rangers announcers can continue to watch players put up no points and kiss his ass about his game is back on track and now he's confident. Just for once I'd love to see them hire an announcer that comes out and says, "Hayes has stunk all season is lazy. Hope he's ready for a pay cut."

...I think the same thing, but then remember these announcers are "part of the team" and are paid by MSG and have to "work" with these players every day.

You will get some tough love, but pretty much never will get flat out calling out a player badly.

You get a lot of Nash doesn't score, but he is doing so much else well. That is awesome, but he is paid to score goals...needs to score goals.

Hayes has been called out some, but yeah he has been pretty much a disaster this season, so not near enough.

A lot of hockey left though, maybe Nash will do a reverse this season. And Hayes simply has to get better unless last season was a total fluke, so hopefully his best hockey is ahead of him still.

Better yet, this is a post i made in that thread where i said the team was flawed and that we need to fix it or we could reasonably miss the playoffs.

"Coming into this year i wasn't too high on the team because i thought they were flawed, but then they got off to that crazy start and everyone was excited how we were a powerhouse. Dump was the only one who during the amazing start openly said the team was flawed and he was vilified for it, yet here we are couple months later and he was spot on. After our unexpected 16-3-2 start over the first 21gms, we have gone 8-13-3 over the last 24. That is a long enough sample to realize there IS a problem and if not fixed we're screwed and very reasonably could miss the playoffs."

It's all good SPD. It was my fault and I accept responsibility. Name calling/insults or not I shouldn't have let it escalate. I should know better and I accept full responsibility. It is over and done with and we all should move on and talk hockey. I am over it. Won't happen again. Fully my fault.
