Still can't get one by Bishop! End of one Rangers down 0-1.

Bad TO but i thought Lundqvist probably should've had it straight on.

Well, Bishop does not miss a heartbeat when playing
the Rangers. After two periods, Rangers down 0-1.

Poor job by Kreider, should've just come straight in and used his wrist shot.

Let's hope that does not put him back a month
mentally!

Looks like the streak comes to end tonight. One goal down
to Bishop looks to be too tough to overcome.

Need to get something cheap around the net to score tonight.

Wait...71 knocking Girardi and McDonagh...wow didn't see that coming...:). All that was missing is the knock of Staal and he would have hit his trifecta for the night...LOL.

Can't win them all. Terrible way to lose, when you get a PP with 1:26 left WORST CASE you come away with a point, but what can you do. Played pretty well tonight, but some sloppy play did them in.

Bad play by Yandle on the 1st goal...a goal that should have been stopped by Hank.
And really bad play by Stepan and McD on the game winning goal.

Frustrating way to lose a game, if they lost 1-0 and Moore never scored that would have been a lot easier to swallow because you felt a point was a lock after the penalty on TB as I said, but it is what it is.

Yeah just frustrating to see Stepan and McD butcher that sequence.

Bottom line is 14-3-2 and cannot win every game despite the fact that you fans in here think we should. What about games when we score late to win...like last game scoring with under 1 minute left...the way it goes sometimes.

If we went 81-1 people would be all upset over the 1 L...LOL.

Agree 100% Mess...very frustrating to lose like that after you feel great about 1 point at least. Then watching McD and Step mess it up sucks, McD made a big mistake coming forward at first instead of simply retreating and playing it safe at that point of the game, but it happens. Onto Miami...

Yeah but Toronto didn't give up a sh goal to lose that's the difference. The record is great obviously but it dosen't mean it still isn't a bad job getting no points.

SH goal of course makes it tougher to swallow, but result is the same...late game winner. They'll win Saturday night and start a new streak...

Tough way to lose. Just pick themselves up and move
forward. Record is no fluke; team will rebound.
Then everyone will sleep well!

Tough loss for sure. Considering most on the board were predicting a 3rd or 4th place finish before the season started there shouldn't be so much negativity.

Losses don't get much tougher than that one. Imagine this team tying it with 6 to go, getting a PP with a minute left and losing on a SH goal caused by a botched play by 2 of our best players. Playing tampa is becoming a curse like when we play at montreal. I hope we beat them a few times before we get to the playoffs. Oh well, on to the next streak starting on saturday.

LONG way off, but TB is a team I'd like to avoid if we are lucky enough to make it back to the ECF. Bishop plays well against us, all the ex-Rangers on that team add some extra motivation, and they have a bunch of skilled forwards that can score. I would rather play Montreal.

LONG way to go, and a million things can change between now and the playoffs, but that's how I feel today.

Overall we should be feeling really good about the team at 14-3-2. Looks like us and the Caps will battle for 1st in the Met. I'd be fine with either spot and go from there. 1-3 in the Met is good with me and drop the puck...:).

I for one enjoyed this loss. I have no interest in the Rangers going in as the 1 seed again. Too much pressure and it's something I don't think they handle well. I'd prefer they get the second or third seed. I personally like the Rangers playing on the road. Plus, to me it exposed the flaws of this team which I already knew. That would be Nash still doesn't score in big games. Kreider is still a bumbling idiot when it comes to finishing. Because of Kreider's offensive incompetence along with Nash's inconsistency, the team to me needs a change up front. I said it last year. They aren't built for the playoffs. They are built for the regular season. They need to stick with McIlrath. Period.

The crap part about it is that the only one they can trade to potentially make the team better which makes sense with the cap is Etem along with one of the defenseman. Honestly, if they don't get Staal to agree to a trade, or Boyle then they are almost forced to trade Yandle. He's probably the only chance they have at bringing back a legit goal scorer. The only guy I could come up with that made any sense was Connolly on the Bruins who is a righty shot. Yandle is from Boston I believe. I would think trading him to Boston for Connolly for a couple of second's if he signs there is a possibility.

While you want game 7 at home, although it seems to mean less every year, to me I rather open on the road. Almost every NHL series is 1-1, so if you open on the road you go home for a big game 3 in front of your own fans. I have said it for a while now, I am perfectly fine 1-3 in the Met. I may actually say give me 2nd in the Met and I will be very happy.

I picked the Rangers 4th in the Eastern Conference.....only
thing that matters come playoffs that the Rangers are healthy........
something that has been difficult in the past.
