Igor out till who knows when, no bread man till rumors say Tuesday??, hajek scratched so the dynamic d duo of johnson and Smith will be on display. Even missing 2 plus weeks does the bread man really need all these practices. I would bet he could miss a month and be better than 90% of our forwards. After not getting it done in Pittsburgh 2 in a row not holding out much hope in Boston. Would be happy to at least see Kakko or laf get a goal tonight at least. I think kratsnov team lost today knocking him out of the playoffs and hopefully he gets on a plane in next day or so and when he arrives has to quarantine I believe 10 days. After that we can get a look and see what he looks like here before the end of the season.

I will say this, while this season looks like it will end up as expected (6th in their division outside of the playoffs) given where we are experience wise, 13 mill of dead cap space wise, and very challenging division wise, I am damn excited for the future. We could essentially have 3 first (or worst case second) lines when Kravtsov gets here.

Lafreniere/Chytil/Kravtsov

That is as impressive of a top 9 as any team (while acknowledging they will need time to grow and mature). It also makes you wonder do you go big for Eichel instead of Strome or Zib. I am a big get Eichel guy, because you need a stud C IMO, I don't trust Strome, and Zib has taken a clear step back this season, but you can argue go add a big time LD instead of a high priced C.

And while I think the C/Eichel is the way to go, it is worthy of a debate I'd say.
