End of one and rangers have a 1-0 lead on a goal by the breadman. Play back and for the with the rangers having an edge in scoring chances. Looking good.

I don't understand - where is the whining and complaining about the PP and Blackwell and Gauthier? I am so confused.

Gauthier should be dressed for this game. What the hell does Howden bring besides spending 90% of the time on his ass?

What I am noticing is the lines aren’t changing every 5 minutes. Stability is good.

Rangers still looking good up 1-0 after 2. Caps in cheap shot mode after Lindgren decleated Ovi with a big clean hit

No goals allowed in the last 5 periods with Doctor Quinn not behind the bench.

It figures they score nine goals and then the offense is garbage the following game.

Fucking Howden sucks cock I totally agree that Gauthier would’ve been really good in this game

I've seen sun dials in July move quicker than this team.

Too much play on the perimeter. Noone was willing to go to the net and pay the price like that schmuck Ovechkin. That's why this guy is one of the best ever.

Dominate and control play for 55 minutes but because we don’t have a defenseman that can clear the fromt of the net ovi is allowed to sit 3 feet in front of the net and tap 2 2 footers into a wide open net. What a horrendous loss that was!

Lindgren needs to learn how to clear the front of the net if he wants to hang with the big boys. Fox is too small to do that.

Need kakko 1 timer instead of buch on the pp. put gautier in the lineup and hopefully Igor is back Sunday. The lack of any semblance of a pp is what will keep this team out of competing for a playoff spot.

How come I don't see cursing out the coach and calling for him to be fired tonight? No ripping him for scratching Gauthier? No ripping him for his PP decisions? Interesting how I see some of you holding the players accountable for the first time tonight. So predictable.

That was a tough loss. Unfortunately not unexpected given the youth of the team, there will be ups and downs and inconsistent play. Need to learn how to finish and win consistently. They'll get there, I have no doubt about that.

Georgiev needs to do a better job controlling rebounds.

This is basically what this team is, .450/.500 team in the middle stages of a rebuild. Maybe somebody will give them a pick for Blackwell or Smith.

Did the Rangers NOT score their only goal on the PP?
Let's cut the bull shit. Gauthier is not a difference maker and would not have done anything to change the outcome of the game.
No one suffered a serious injury despite Lindgren getting blasted in the face with a puck while on the bench...next game is tomorrow.

And now 11 of the Rangers 13 losses have been one goal games. This team can hang with any team in the NHL when they're forecheck is on, totally outplayed the Caps for 55 minutes but didn't capitalize on opportunities.

All those one goal L's tell me young team needs to learn how to win in the NHL, which is logical, not oh no we better fire the big bad coach.

It's so disgustingly transparent, and these guys don't even see it. With Quinn it is knock and nitpick everything he does. Not being logical and saying young rebuilding team, need time to mature and learn how to win NHL games. Funny how we saw none of that last night. None of the nitpicky whining. We even saw some holding the players accountable - shocker.

Different man behind the bench, same scratches, same lines, same result. Young team needs to grow and become consistent from game to game, and within games. Not about the coach at this point.

Chuck, I know U don’t think with your diff man behind the bench, same scratches, same results nonsense that knoblach is doing anything but following Quinn’s demands as to who to play. Would love for him to actually make those decisions.

Oh mel, you walked right into that one. Of course I don't think that, and of course I know this is Quinn's team, but you guys don't...LOL.

All I saw during the 9-0 win was oh look at what a real coach can do. This is a clear sign the team quit on Quinn. The team looks so much better with Knoblauch behind the bench. Then last night it's team looks good with no Quinn.

So which is it mel? Looking great in 9-0 win, Quinn's team or they do it in spite of Quinn and that game shows they quit on Quinn? Looking good last night without Quinn, or same result showing young team inconsistent learning to win in the NHL regardless of the coach?

Once again, you guys want to spin it to fit the narrative you want. As usual - good = they quit on Quinn/credit the players/new coach behind bench. Bad = blame Quinn for everything. And this is still Quinn's team, Knoblauch just following his orders.

So easy and predictable yet again. Thanks for playing along mel.

Knoblauch isn't making the lineup. He's following orders. During the game it is different. I don't think for a second Blackwell would be on the first line if Gauthier was dressing.

Keep this AHL guy here and throw Quinn out the door.

I’ve been saying that for over a month

Funny that Quinn wasn't on the bench and they scored more than 8 goals for the first time since 1998. Keep him away, please. Chuckster is gonna flip out. LOL

The fact of the matter is that some of us have been proven right without any doubt. This team showed last night they hate Quinn and have quit on him. It was obvious unless you watch the games with your eyes closed which I swear some people here do. If JD and Gorton are worth anything they will remove Quinn by the trade deadline. Zibanejad more than anybody showed he can't stand Quinn last night. It was painfully obvious. Quinn must be fired soon.

Hhhhhmmmmm, once again I'm confused. Is it Quinn's team or is it Knoblauch's team?

Oh wait I get it, when they win it's Knoblauch's team. He pulled the strings. Team quit on Quinn. When they lose it's oh come on it's Quinn's team still. Knoblauch doesn't make the lineups. Blame Quinn.

Have to love the agenda driven fake fans on this one. Really couldn't be more transparent, although it has been transparent to me from day one.

Last night was another game by a young inconsistent team learning how to win in the NHL. That's not on the coach, and it hasn't been all season.

The fact that we are where we are, poised to take the next step into playoffs/contender status next season, is a testament to Quinn/Gorton/JD.

Chuck, your being that toothache thing again I mentioned the other day. Let it go already.

I will let it go when you guys stop the inconsistent nonsense. You cannot have it both ways, and that's all you guys try and do. Watch the games and root for the team you claim you are a fan of, and stop the fire the coach BS post after post.

The team is in year 3 of a self-proclaimed rebuild, we need patience through this season at least, not blaming the coach for every little thing when the team is clearly not ready to win yet, and no one picked them/expected them to do so this season outside of the unrealistic fans.

I expect that from your king, the guy who started a fire Quinn thread 4 months after he was hired, I don't expect that from what I thought were reasonable fans.
