I've been high on Zucc for awhile, glad things are finally coming together for him. Amazing what a player like him can do when given a chance to create on O

Jam, have you ever seen that before where after 2 whacks at the goalie and puck clearly secured underneath him a third guy is allowed to skate in and take another whack at the puck. And if you watch the replay ref comes from other side clearly cannot see puck has whistle in said mouth to blow play dead and just chokes on his whistle and doesn't blow it. Complete choke job by ref and can't blame cam for that one.

I understand that Mel, and I agree, the ref screwed up. However, Cam needs to make sure the puck doesn't go in, and any Ranger around the goal cannot allow anybody from Toronto to come in and take extra whacks at the puck. Anybody coming toward's Cam, should have been put on his ass.

Maloney on the radio was really questioning the lack of using Kreider late and in OT, and I agree. Doesn't make much sense. I guess AV simply doesn't trust him in big spots tied. Interesting.

Nash...not really sure what to say about Nash. He is lost right now IMO. And his shootouts are poor. Enough with the fancy sh*t...just rip it. He is frustrating me right now.

Great we got 2 points, but a downer we gave Toronto 1, and had to win in a SO, which hurts tiebreakers down the road. Solid 2 points though. Good ending with 4 straight points.

And I think you have to start Cam Friday night...how can you not.

Great goal by Miller on a sweet feed from Kreider, the kid is playing great hockey last 3 games. Before the Leaf goal the ref was raising his whistle to blow the play dead on the first whack by Clarkson then for some reason stopped. Nash needs to slow down on shootouts and put a high hard accurate shot on goal, he comes in like he has two defenders tugging on his shirt and usually loses control of the puck before he can get a shot off.

Zucc and Stepan come in and just shoot the puck past Bernier, which should have been a recipe for success. So what does Nash do? Tries to take the puck past him and shoots wide ... Dohhhh

It won't happen, but I'd love to here AV's reasons for keeping Kreider on the bench as often as he does. He needs to play ... period

Perhaps AV can tie Nash's skates together next shootout to convince him to try a wrist/slapshot. I'm wondering if CK sat in OT because of the delay of game penalty, AV has to accept that young players are going to make mistakes. Give the guy a chance to redeem himself, at least a pissed off Kreider is going to play physically.

A penalty like that doesn't help the case for AV to play Kreider late in close games. I agree mistakes will happen, but that is a reason why AV might not trust him late in close games.

I don't agree with it, but I am sure that is stuff AV thinks about.

Since theyre going back on the road maybe theyll loosen up and reel off a few more wins.

I think every goalie in the league would like to make sure pucks don't go in.

In that situation, with just over a minute left in the game, yeah he needs to make sure that puck doesn't go in the net. In that same situation, he also needed help from his teammates to prevent anybody with a Maple Leafs Jersey from taking extra whacks at the puck. Again, they didn't do that. The end result, overtime. I don't want to hear about every goalie in the league, because every goalie in the league wasn't coming off a piss poor 9 game home stand, where they were struggling to get points. Nice sarcasm though ...

Your not making sense. If there was ten minutes left he would want to keep the puck out of the net. What do you think goalies do? Oh I'm not going to secure this puck because I want to give up a goal here. Make sure? If goalies could do that they would never let any goals in.

I'm making perfect sense. I'm not talking about a shot from the point, or a rebound where he had to make a point blank save; he already had the puck under his pad and at the point he had to make sure that the puck didn't cross the line. Now it's true that the referee should have blown the whistle, and it's also true that his teammates should not have allowed all those extra whacks at the puck. Someone in a Maple Leafs jersey should have been on their ass, but none of those things happened and you saw the result. If you can't understand that, then you aren't the Messiah I thought you were.

Team let up one goal. How about finishing once again for our forwards. How about Nash earning part of his huge contract and scoring some freakin goals.

I understand about clearing guys. What makes so sense is about the goalie with the puck. Goalies don't always know exactly where it is.
