Looking for the rangers to get off early and often and finally take advantage of the pens power plays. See rangers 4-1 taking a commanding 3-1 lead.
 
4th line needs to come out hitting like last game. Maybe a scrap of someone bumps Lundqvist. Can't let those pussies think they can take liberties
 
I feel like one of these teams are gonna break out and win big tonight and I'm hoping its us. Pens are gonna come out HARD and FLYING because if they lose tonight, series is over. Gotta be ready immediately for them flying. Handle them for the first ten minutes, score a goal (or several) quick and early, and keep on pushing and don't let off the gas until the final buzzer. No defensive shell, no dumping the puck and then just changing with no one forechecking them. Keep pressure on those average dmen all night and win big boys!!!
 
Get through the first 7-10 minutes or so on level playing field and we'll be in good shape (same thing I said before game 3). Withstand that early wave and go from there.

If we score 1st that will be very big tonight.
 
Exactly what we needed to avoid. Hornqvist bumps Hank in the crease and nothing. Hope Rangers take note and realize now they need to bump Fluery. If refs are gonna let bumps go, then let them go both ways.
 
Solid start...:). Pitt put the puck on net and gets the dirty goal. That is playoff hockey. We go on the PP and don't get a sniff.
 
Slow motion Rangers are back. Pierre just called Arneil the "architect" of the PP. If something fails this miserably is he an architect or a destroyer?

I don't think it's a penalty when Hornqvist bumped Hank, but that's one of those close calls that could've been interfering with his chance to make a save. Is what it is. Now we need to settle in and play like we should. Stop playing scared and afraid. Be aggressive. We got punched in the mouth early, now we need to respond.
 
It is not a penalty. That was 100% a legit goal. We ALL need to stop complaining about the refs. It's like a broken record in here. We have twice as many PP's in the series.

How about this team actually plays a game with some passion and desire when we lead in a series. Fu*k...
 
Once again no killer instinct on this team. Opportunity to go up 3-1 and they look horrific. Not surprised at all eh Chuck
 
Not a pattern at all Dis...:).

With that said...WAY early. We can still win this game 5-2 hopefully.
 
AV has to get them motivated. They look slow and disinterested so far, which I know they aren't, but they need to wake up out there. The big play against us so far was that bad pass by Hayes to Yandle before the Pens goal on a 3 on 2.
 
Solid PK...let's get some MO going off of that and tie this thing up.
 
I don't know why this team has trouble playing with a series lead. They should be able to come out playing for their playoff lives, no matter who has the series lead.

I said it's not a penalty. Simply said that we've all seen that called for interfering with the chance to make a save is all, which is why I moved on and say it is what it is.
Good for Kreider. The only player on our team with the balls to crash Fluery and give him a little bump and let Pitt know we can bump and crash your goalie too.
 
I know it is early and they can come back but I really am starting to question the core of this team if they have what it takes to win the cup. The same crap started with torts and continues with AV.
 
Would you stop Step...you always take it to the over the top level. Somehow they were good enough to make the SCF last season right? And the ECF in 2012 right?

Clearly playing with a killer instint when leading is an issue, but don't go over the top man.
 
Pitt came out with energy as expected and the Rangers have been on their heels for 11 minutes.
 
By the time they get to the finals they run out of gas playing this 7 game series every goddam year.
 
Can we PLEASE shoot on this PP. of course we lose the faceoff though because winning it would be too simple. Jeez. Aging in dog years here Raners, aging in dog years. Can never do anything easily lol
