its about time for scott arniel to pack his shit and leave. he hasnt fixed the power play and they look as lost as ever. columbus can have his ass back.

That's simply because Pens are playing a trap. It's the only reason they're hanging in. They're trying to win 2-1 games. They know they can't get into a coast to coast game with us. Smart coaching by them
 
If the Rangers had even a half way decent PP this wouldn't be a series. It's easier for the Pens to play this style when you don't make them pay with the man advantage.

Much better period obviously. I think we are in solid shape. I expect the Pens to make a push early in the 3rd, but if we stand up to that early I think we win this game and go home up 3-1.
 
Much different game obviously right now. If they went into the third down 1-0 I wouldn't of been too confident.
 
While I admit the 1st period of this game was an abortion for the Rangers this board is so freaking negative. LOL

Rangers are going to win this game and win decisively on Friday

Why is it when I said our PP was going to hurt us no one listened and simply kept talking about Boston winning a cup with a bad PP? Now everyone is blaming our PP and realizing it IS hurting us. We're a skill team and we need to figure something out with this PP IMMEDIATELY. Whomever we play rd 2, should we not blow this series, will take even more advantage of this putrid PP. If its the Isles, expect a TON of dirty plays and hits because they'll know we won't make them pay for it on the scoreboard nor on the ice.
 
To me go with Yandle, Brass, Step, Zucc, and Nash on the 1st unit. McD, Boyle, Miller, Kreider, and Hayes on the 2nd unit and be done with it.

The PP didn't suck the whole year. That's what's so confusing. We had a top 10 PP for a LONG time and then BAM!!! We sucked. I don't know what happened other than Klein got hurt, but that doesn't answer why we pass pass pass and never shoot.

100% agree with that. Change it up at least. Make MSL realize he's gotta show something that makes him deserve PP time.

They weren't pass poor in the regular season... Btw islanders also can't score on the pp
