He didn't have many alternatives. Goodrow has been horrible the last two games, better Rooney out there than him.

The last 2 games were perfect examples of why this team won't make a long run in the playoffs if things aren't changed. One, Panarin and Fox need to be told if they pass up high quality shots, they will be benched. Simple as that. Two, when teams don't give us PP's, this teams offense sucks ass. They need to get a 3rd line center. Chytil blows at center. Drury needs to get rid of Hunt and McKegg immediately, they suck. Either go with Barron on the 4th line or go get somebody to put with Rooney and Reeves. Personally, I think Rooney doesn't add much to the team.
