Rangers - Sabres Thursday

I don't know about anyone else but, I am relieved the Sabres losing streak is over...I always feel like teams that are on a losing streak seem to give the Rangers trouble. There is no basis in reality for this feeling though.

That's funny and I don't disagree. Law of averages they were due to win a game at some point, so happy they got their W. On a back to back for them we should be in a good spot tonight. Have to avoid looking ahead, and we should be okay.

Kinkaid in tonight. Wish Quinn would let Igor play a bunch in a row unless he’s hurt. Need to come out strong tonight and don’t give buffalo hope for an upset

Having Mika Zibanejad in fantasy hockey the past 2 seasons has been quite the roller coaster. Wake up dude. It's the Sabres.

Better 2nd period but over passing as usual costing them scoring opportunities. When fox is 10 feet in front of the net shoot the damn puck already instead of always passing it. Same with buch. Rangers cannot lose this game. This is sabres 3rd game in 4 nights and Pitt is beating Boston.

Yeah, team needs to shoot more. Seems to have been an issue of theirs for years and years. Played well in the 2nd, but game tied. We score next and we'll be in a good spot. If Buffalo does then we are in a dogfight.

I think we'll see Kravtsov next week when they get back to MSG. Trade DL won't be too interesting but maybe they can scrape another midround pick from Blackwell or Smith. Don't see anything happening with DA until the summer.

Blackwell has certainly shown some value this year. He could be a good fit for a contending team. Doesn't bring size but he plays hard and puts himself in good positions to score.

Take the 2 points and move on. Totally outplayed them, but their goalie kept them in it. Still got it done. Boston getting beat by Pitt. Onto Saturday night in Buffalo again. Need 2 more points before we play the Pens back to back.

Pitt beat Boston 4-1 and 3 back of Boston now. Z man screwed up that last sequence in regulation losing face off and then not going out to play the shooter and letting him walk in. Igor played great but gives up a lot of late game goals. Do t understand as well as KAKKO was playing not getting any OT time. At one time our 3 some was trouba buch and Blackwell if I remember right. We dominated shots wise but were fortunate to get out of there with the 2 points. Rest up and get another win on Saturday!

Yeah that loss to Philly with Boston coming back on NJ could be the night that burns them in the end. They'd be in a playoff spot, albeit with the Bruins having 3g in hand. In the last 20 i think we'd need at least 30 pts.
