Devils pretty much have been starting their opening night lineup and basically playing the pre-season like it's the regular season. Why I have no idea.

I think it’s gonna take at least 25 games for the Rangers to get Gallant’s system down. Barron and Gauthier should both make the team with Reeves out unless there is a match up with a need to have Tinordi playing at forward

I like Chytil but still seeing the same no ability to finish as we’ve seen the last 3 years. A lot of opportunities but never scores. If he is traded I think Barron would fill in fine there until eichel is ready if that’s the trade he goes in. Miller still needs to use his body more. Igor was very sharp tonight. Trouba needs to shake the rust off as he looks terrible out there

Easy to see why Subban's career went into the shitter. First he slewfoots Reeves which is gutless. Then he is a pussy and won't answer the bell vs. a guy that isn't a fighter. Then he jumps Kreider in the third. What a loser that guy turned into.

Jones can play in the NHL. No doubt. I think Jones, Kravtsov and Chytil are going to be used in a deal for Eichel. Honestly, I have no issues if Barron takes the third line, center role this year with Goodrow and Blais. If Reeves comes back I like a fourth line of Gauthier-Rooney-Reeves. It would not hurt Gauthier to spend a year on the 4th line working on toughness, hitting and defense. I didn't think so last year but this year I believe it would benefit him.
