Actually the East looks pretty deep too. Chicago and Atlanta are pretty good for playin teams.

Just feels like there are more quality starters than a decade ago, and thus more competitive teams in the middle of the standings.

I don't really know where the Nets will end up but with the upheaval in that franchise right now I can't put them anywhere but in the last slot that could make the playoffs. If it was a happy and healthy KD, Simmons, Kyrie and their supporting cast obviously this team would be in the conversation for HCA but that's no the case.
