Lil Wayne doesn't right it down, he says that he heard Jay-Z(his idol) didnt right his stuff down and simply memorized them, and Lil Wayne says he does the same.

Actually, most of Dre's lyrics came off NWA, specifically Ice Cube. Along with Eazy. Mase and Diddy don't write their lyrics, Nas and a few others wrote them in Diddy's last album.
