<div class="quote_poster">Trench Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">look at it carefully. There are so many colors and the saturation in the background is terrible. The sigs have to have some kind of FLOW to it. The background has to fit the render. Yours looks as if you just put a photo of Billups on top of a random made background rather than place the background around the render... MAKE SENSE??? Its hard to explain, but your sig doesnt have any type of flow and the background really doesnt match the render too well. The Render itself it not blended in the background at all, and the pistons logo doesn't look like it really fits. The left side looks like blood on a wall, the right side looks like some kind of lighting. then you have a faded out Billups render that does not really look like it fits.
Im not trying to take anything away from your efforts, but I've been on boards with very "GOOD" designers who's critques are very harsh. You rarely see a 10/10 period. Unfortunately that site went down.
Keep practicing, but I will CALL is as I see it.
I suggest you find more GFX forums and get them C+C for you. Im sure they'll say the same things I just did.</div>
Ok, thanks, so set the background around the render, to make it flow, i got it. Any more tips or anything?
<div class="quote_poster">Epidemik Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The white blotches weren't my doing, I used a premade background from the link NTC had. The blue parts are apart of the faded sixers logo. But yeah, I'll keep working at it.</div>
Then you should manipulate the premade, to make it fit it better. And it just doesnt look like the blue fits, maybe leave that part out next time?
