The plan would take advantage of the computer chip embedded in MTA farecards. The Nets' new arena is planned for Brooklyn's busiest intersection and parking will be limited. But it will also sit above the city's third busiest subway station linking 10 different lines.</div>

I am sorry that I have to do this in caps, but....
THAT'S REALLY NICE!

Actually, that makes me wonder if tickets are going to cost $2 more....on the other hand, maybe Ratner is saving money with this program considering 1) The advertising this creates, and 2) The fact that less money is spent on parking staff.

You know the city of New York is loving this. More people using the subway.

This doesn't benefit fans really at all. This is city politics. Who in New york doesn't have a subway pass?

Hmmm...yeh...maybe its not such a good deal....what about the ride back?

i would be pretty scared goign on a subway at nite especailly with all those crazy homeless people

i read in papers that Ratner will loose about 450,000 a year by doing this. What a nice guy! Some people in brooklyn will never make 450,000 in the next 20 years!
