see, when you're a single guy, shit is cheaper. no schedules...no need to see lame monuments and tourist crap. .just use miles to book a ticket. cheap room in central area....booze, women and relaxing....just depends on how gangsta you want to be....but accomodations eat up most of the $$$$.

I love being a husband and a dad. But I gotta admit, I miss the days of sleeping off a hangover on some random beach in Mexico. I miss the hookups that came with backpacking around Europe. A lot of it I guess is just that I miss being 24 and only responsible for myself.

But like you said, at the end of the day it's having somebody to share it with.

I had some good advice from a therapist once about dating. (Yes I've seen a therapist) Before you fall in love with someone, make a list of things that are logical "deal breakers." Working 70 hours a week, should probably be on that list for you. And living more than 30 minutes drive as well if you ask me. I would make a list now and then after your mind has adjusted to single life, make a list again and compare the two.

Good advice for dating maybe, but true love is UNCONDITIONAL.
