Okay, we're going up against the Warriors again. Dame is averaging something silly like 45 points against them. What do you think is going to happen? Epic beatdown by the Warriors?

If we were to somehow get the win, I would go ahead and declare us champions of the league and end the season right then and there. Two wins against, potentially, the best team of all-time? That's enough in my book. I would love it if we contributed to them not beating the Bulls record. They can only lose 3 more games total (4 to tie).

The Warriors suck! We own the Warriors. We crushed them in the preseason and we crushed them in our last game. We're going to blow them out by 40 points and Dame is gonna drop 82, thus beating Kobe's best scoring number.

(I'm starting a new thing. If you're going to post something that's clearly Kingspeed status, it's all rose colored font from here on out.)

I expect that they won't show up at all. They'll say their "plane broke down" or they all have "stomach flu" or they need to "wash their hair".

So what you're saying is, all 15 guys should have retired from basketball after beating the Warriors the last time.

I think GS is still going to be pissed off and embarrassed. They are at home and I'm afraid they are going to do their best to repay us for the thumping. I expect that fury to be coupled with help from the refs. We are going to have to be perfect just to make it a game....

Really have no idea. We've played well when rested the last few months and the Warriors have played some mediocre games at home this year they've luckily won. Once that team starts moving the ball they get defenses to break down and open layups or easy three point shots. I like how we played at a faster tempo than them at the Rose Garden and think that'll be a key factor. Our defense has to be excellent and we need some guys to shoot better than average.

Really I just want to see us in good defensive positions and execute our offense. It's kind of a free roll game as we're supposed to lose so if we do no big deal but if we win it'll be epic.

Go Blazers!

I will be shocked if Dame gets 8-10 FTA tomorrow. Post All-Star he's averaging 8.7 FTA per game. We'll see if he gets anywhere near that tomorrow.

Think we win. One team's gotta knock them off at home, right? We're actually a decent matchup for the Warriors and if we get another big night from our backcourt, who knows?

If we don't win, I'd be happy if we keep it competitive throughout the entire 48 minutes.

Anderson Varejao is going to score 30 and grab 20. We will lose by 25.

Dame is going to bring out his best defensive effort of the season. Dominating Curry at home was one thing, but dominating him in Oakland will be another entirely. He'll channel his inner Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and put up the first 30pt-20ast game in 20 years.

Did I do that right, Nate?

The Warrior are in the middle of a 6 game home stand. Rested and focused on getting the record and getting some revenge on the Blazers....not a good scenario. The Blazers play Saturday night, so that could be a factor if we are down big in the 3rd.

However if I am Stotts I emphasize we have nothing to lose. Just go in and play loose and keep it close until the 4th. If it is close..anything can happen.

Sexy.

I expect that with all the rest and prep time that we will come out very strong in the first quarter and take a nice lead. They will eat into it, but still be down by half time. Second half they will hold it close until Dame sits. Then they will go up by 15-20 and that will be the end of the game.

We play the warriors really good because we can match up with them big or small line up.

I'm sure that the Warriors have had this game circled on their calendars since the Blazers pounded them in the last game. OTOH, I think the Blazers will be out to show that last win wasn't just a fluke. I'm about as homer as they come, but I still don't see this one working out favorably for the Blazers. Probably a 15-20 point win for the Dubs.

If it is close I think there will be a few T's. Things will get testy if calls go against GS. Look for Green or Bogut to take a cheap shot.

The things I see going for the Blazers is that everyone expects them to lose so there's no pressure on them and that these guys are so united as a team and never give up.

Close win or blowout loss... those are my realistic expectations, if I were an expectorant. But I'm not, so I'll let the game play out. ;)
