Was wondering where he went. Thought he got bored and left.

Several of the Blazers use the word openly, so you banned him for being an "authentic" fan? (asking for a friend) :dunno:

You keep hitting new lows. This post is unneccessary

Welcome to the OT section where we tolerate comparing people to racists on the forum from the past and it’s all jokes if said to the guy who doesn’t constantly obsess over trump. OT section is a joke and has been for a while and honestly I’m pretty tired of some of you in here who pick your shots but wouldn’t say shit in person.

I have no problem saying anything to your face. :argument::biglaugh:

...my fav Joe Walsh tunes...Funk 49 .....and Pretty Maids All in a Row.

Yeah, can't go wrong with Funk 49 as that's easily the most recognized James Gang song and a very good one. I always enjoyed some of the longer tunes such as the Bomber. Walsh goes into a solo and even does a rendition of Ravel's Bolero during the solo.

By the way @Cippy91 , originally the reason I tagged you had more to do with your defense of being able to use words like “r*****d” and “f***t” as I see that being similar to using the N word., not actually thinking you were racist.

It sounds like he was banned for verbally emulating one or more of the Blazers, which is kinda what fans are expected to do.

Again, please explain what you mean by this. Because if you aren't a parody account--and I'm getting what you're saying--you(r posts) are a tired stereotype account.

Shall we talk about Native Americans again, you ******* ****?

Well maybe forum members shouldn’t tag others implying they are racist as was sinobas as the time of his banning. I shouldn’t of reacted how I did. I apologize. However I don’t take being implied as a racist lightly and it’s the exact shit I always talked about in this OT section. I was staying away from everything till the preseason started but I get tagged in some shit like that and I couldn’t help it. Should of just left it. Oh well. Had to defend myself if nobody else will call that bullshit out
You've been accused of being a racist so many times on here (not sure about in real life), that one would just assume you were good at handling it without losing your cool. You seem to have a lot of practice telling us you AREN'T one.

Wanna explain how it was funny blazer camera guy?
That's actually not my job, but oh well. Curious what you do for a living? You seemed to have used that career as some sort of crack or putdown towards me. 3 of my better friends are Blazer camera guys. Who are paid to travel around the world and make up to $150,000 a year. You brought it up, you must be killing it in your field of work, to use THAT as crack on somebody.

Joe Walsh actually left the band in 1972 and in 1973 it could have been either Domenic Troiano or future Deep Purple guitarist Tommy Bolin as there was a transition period in 1973. The two albums with Tommy Bolin were pretty decent but not at the same level as the Joe Walsh James Gang lineup.

Tommy Bolin is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. His work on Billy Cobham’s Spectrum is incredible.

Geez, HCP, why don't you just take out back and shoot him? I don't blame you for feeling insulted but that was one hell of a put down. A little overkill, I'd say.

Edit: ps What is his job?

Teaching anger management classes.

It's that what we're calling it now?

Why this needs to be explained to you.... Nvm I know why...

You can't own everything.... You can't have domain over every single thing. The minute you understand this you'll be a better person because of it.

There is no affront to you because you can't use the N word in any fashion.

Do you truly feel like not being able to say the word is a denial of rights?

Why do you want to say it so bad?

And Breaking News: It's against forum rules.

Stupid question and I apologize if this is offensive. Is Maris saying the Blazers say the N word like -er? because almost everyone of my black friends that says the n word with -a, and I have very rarely heard any black person say the -er variant. A few times but it’s rare.. the fact is they can say those words to each other and me if they want but I’d be a moron to say it back, though I know factually they wouldn’t care if I used the -a variant, I don’t even do that though.

Yeah, you'd be wrong here.

It's against forum rules for good reason. Forum rules or not, I don't tolerate it.

It's against general decorum out in the public for good reason also, You can get your nose broken saying that in the wrong company.

@SlyPokerDog why is it okay for people to tip toe on that line when it’s obvious what he meant? I don’t get it. Never will with the current rules in place. Luckily I’m straight forward and don’t play that weak shit so you can see and edit or delete my posts accordingly. I’m not a coward like this dude. He even tagged me looking for a damn problem

A. A coward wouldn't tag you.
B. A coward dry snitches and acts like he's not.

:dunno:

Yeah, you'd be wrong here.
Maybe, I don’t try but a couple of them have told me they wouldn’t care. I think it would be pretty dumb for me to try to get away with it. There would be more that don’t like it then there would be that are ok with it.

Well OK!!!

I believe we are supposed to be past the age where we need role models.

barfo

What age is that?

Ideally, people have good parents who are role models.

I don't know the age of Sinobas, nor what role models he may or may not have had.

Son of a gun! You really ARE George C. Tirebiter! Whoever was singing damn sure sounded like Walsh. I stand corrected. I was heavily under the influence at the time and just assumed it was him. It was still a great concert though.

It's possible we're both correct.

Joe led the band Barnstorm 1971-1973, but complained that the promoters kept marketing the records and concerts as Joe Walsh and not mentioning the name of his current band. He was not in any band from late 1973-1975, and then he joined the Eagles in 1975.

So it's quite possible he did a few re-union gigs with his old band as they switched guitarists a couple more times in that period.
