<{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>1. Yes, but not to the point where we would give him away for a worse player at the same position and a pitcher who wouldn't even make the rotation. Be realistic. The Yankees will get either one big name and a few prospects for him (if we trade him) or one big name and one noticeable player.2. Yes. You know another amazing talent everyone in NY wanted gone right? Roger Maris. And all he did was stick around and break the Home Run record.3. Because the Texas Rangers certainly didn't do that when they traded A-Rod. The Seattle Mariners certainly didn't do that when they traded Ken Griffey Jr. Nope, top notch players never get traded by teams that can afford to keep them.

4. Kaz is in no way shape or form anywhere near the talent of A-Rod. For you to continue to compare them is nothing but an escapist's ploy to get out of an idiotic comment.</div>1. You are either kidding yourself, or dilusional, if you dont think a Healthy Mark Prior would make the Yankees rotation. Lets not forget that this guy was a #2 overall draft pick (Only behind some Catcher named Mauer) just a few years ago and he has posted a 42-29 record and a 3.51 ERA/1.23 WHIP on many bad Chicago Cubs teams. Not to mention that Aramis Ramirez Hit .291 with 38 Home Runs and 119 RBI's last season. Both the players you would be getting in that Rumored Offer are not bad players at all, Despite what you think about them.2. Your point? Lets bring up some Pointless Comparision from 45 years ago to attempt to prove your clearly flawed point, despite the fact that the game has clearly changed since then.
3. Alex Rodriguez with Texas Demanded a Trade, and Ken Griffey Jr was in a Contract Year with Seattle. Alex Rodriguez with the Yankees is neither of those. Once again your comparison holds no ground because its a completely different situation you are referring to.
4. Nothing Escapeist about it. I never once said Kazuo Matsui was on the same talent level as Alex Rodriguez. You're the one putting words in my mouth by trying to accuse me of saying that, because of your lack of reading comprehension. All I said was that it there were several similarities in their Situations while they were in New York and Matsui was traded for well below Fair value in the end just to get rid of him. Draw Your own Conclusion on how the A-Rod situation will end, but I highly doubt the Yankees get some team to pay Top Doller for Alex Rodriguez.</div>1. Oh, Prior is great when healthy. But no one puts any value in Prior right now. He's not injury prone, he's always injured.2. My point was that you were wrong, and judging by your response, you are just pissy that I am right rather than looking to come to an accord. You can stay on a team and succeed despite everyone hating you at the time. A-Rod wants to stay.3. Your "counterpoint" didn't counter anything I said. So...
4. HA! Fine. You win. The Kaz Matsui situation, a guy who was hitting the Mendoza line and was benched shares tons of similarities with a yearly All-Star who is a former MVP, one of the only 40-40 men in history, and having a bad year that entails hitting .290 with a 120 RBI's and 35 HR's. Completely the same. There are similarities between Hitler and Jesus, but that doesn't make them anything alike.

It's just a poor analogy.
