I would see if we could get a pick out of it too. Amundson and Hill are both expiring and I like the idea of bringing in Hill and starting him. See if he can recapture some of the magic he had in San Antonio.

You also encourage our point guards to injure their teammates.... :dunno:

I don't encourage it. Andre Miller sank what could have been a dynasty and I, for one, will never forgive him. That alone prevents me from ranking Miller among the ten greatest point guards ever to play the game.

Maybe by PER. I don't accept the "PER argument" and never will.

He's better by the hairline argument. The hairline argument is more widely accepted anyways.

You were a proponent of bringing in Miller, therefor you encouraged the demise of this once great franchise. A pox on your house!

Crawford tweeting nothing surprises him anymore. I wonder if a trade is in the works?

"he's from Oregon!"
:MARIS61:

No, he is NOT from Oregon. Ridnour is from Washington, but went to U of O.

That's like saying Kevin Love is from CA or Kyle Singler is from North Carolina because of where they played college basketball.

he probably has the best mustache in the nba

People do refer to U of O as "oregon"

....

You have to wonder whether there was a bounty system in effect on the Blazers. But for teammates, not opponents. Miller never did that shit in Cleveland or Denver.

A lot of people from L.A. say that Love is from California since he played in UCLA. Just sayin'

If that's the point you were trying to make.... you were referring to school, most people would have said he "went to Oregon."

I'm not trying to be Officer Semantics, but I'm just sayin' - he's not from Oregon.

Kevin Love's dad's brother was Mike Love of the Beach Boys, a band pretty well associated with California (even though Mike Love destroyed it, but whatchagonnado?)

But the Wilson family came from Minnesota originally, which is where Kevin Love now plays.

It's called the cycle of life.

I should clarify that Mike Love destroyed the Beach Boys, not California.

Well, then that makes a lot of people in LA retarded.

Just sayin'.

(Though for most of us, that goes without needed to be said.)

Speaking of the Beach Boys, I'd have to say they were at their best with John Stamos, playing some drums and guitar.

didn't love himself actually say something before all star game last year in LA about "returning home"?

As for the side discussion of Miller, I rmember someone joking about it when we got him about how people seem to get hurt around him. It's funny that throughout his career, he has been amazingly healthy. but he seems to do it by sucking the life out of his teammates. A quick stint in denver, and

Rudy Fernandez strained lower back missed Sunday's game against San Antonio
Danilo Gallinari sprained left ankle is out indefinitely
Nene Hilario strained left calf missed Sunday's game against San Antonio
Kosta Koufos sore knee missed Sunday's game against San Antonio
Timofey Mozgov sprained left ankle left Sunday's game against San Antonio

coincidence? What is he doing?!?!

I'm not so eager to see Crawford hit the exits. If we could get another PG, he'd be a nice 6th man at SG.

Obviously, I'd say the last several years indicates that finding a solid PG is tough (at least for this franchise with this coach). It's probably going to be easier to trade Crawford than for us to get our PG. But I do agree with you. I really like him as a 6th man. He would have to qualify as one of the best 6th men in the league, IMO.

So u wanna get back the clippers and twolves scrubs instead of him coming off the books to make all u whiners happy? Really smart!

You're totally right. Except one thing it's pussy-whiners

Very interesting, any particular reason you think that? I have no knowledge on this subject but I'm curious. :O

That Love destroyed the Beach Boys? After their huge success on Pet Sounds, when Brian Wilson was working on SMiLE, Love continually fought Brian, saying they should go back to their surf tunes that had been so popular. Various accounts have Love's undercutting Brian with the band as so severe that it was a big reason (though far from the only one) that Brian had a breakdown and basically began his gradual decline out of music for a long time.

In addition, once Brian basically stopped being the creative force, not very many people liked what Love turned the Beach Boys into for the rest of the '70s and into the '80s, a bit of a parody of what they had been.

It's definitely opinion, but it's one held by a lot of Beach Boys fans.
