Not sure how you're tying this one together?

GOP candidate assaults reporter and still gets elected by his redneck constituents = Democrats are bad?

They put considerable energy into beating him. Not even the body slam thing was enough to elect a Democrat. So yeah, they are that bad.

The last Democrat I voted for was Bill Clinton in 92. Twenty Five years ago. ugh! Screwed up.
I don't always vote for the Republican, but never the Democrat.

Whatever Democrats are selling, the people aren't buying.
Dude. It's Montana. The fact that he barely got 50% with many mail in ballots is no indictment of anyone except Gianforte. You might notice the libertarian candidate did pretty well.

Also, Gianforte basically looks like Michael Gaston. Which one is which?

Denny's team won. That's the only thing that matters.

Ha! You missed the salient issue. The Democrat did not win.

Because the guy is a piece of shit. I don't care if he's a Republican or a Democrat. He doesn't belong in the House of Representatives. It boggles my mind that this is the kind of guy that is making decisions that affect this country.

Well yeah! But one more voting with Pelosi is worse, even if he resembles the Pope.

Not sure what relevance that has. What I posted were results. What you posted were projections. But I'm pretty sure you know that

Republicans won 3 of 4. The current narrative is the Democrats are going to have a "wave" election. So far, not so much.

But, he's a millionare. He is supposed to join the millionaires club in the Congress and Senate.

This should carry him over the top with Montanans.

I know, right? That was my first thought

How many times have you guys been to Montana? Did you get assaulted? Those toothless, backwoods, gun-toting Montana hicks can be a real pain, huh?

Keep generalizing, im sure you'll get your message through to people by insulting them.

Which reminds me, Rooster Rock is not the correct original name. Do you know the name?

They voted for a dude that body slammed a journalist. I need not know more. It's that simple

It used to be called "Oden's Dick".

From what I'm hearing from various other sources is that this was actually a shove to the guy's neck area after he pushed his way into a private office and stuck a camera (or recording device) of some sort into Gianforte's face.

And no, I can't confirm the source of that. It's a brief summary from a quoted article that I read on another forum, which I don't have in front of me at the moment.

But, if that's true, then it wouldn't surprise me. Because, of course, to the media, shoving a pushy, trespassing reporter equals "bodyslamming an innocent journalist".
