to start, the text is horrible, you probably tried to blend it in w/ the bg but thats not working too well. The bg is kinda busy, I see you used his jersey in it though, so thats a nice little touch. The pic effect is ok.overall 7/10, getting better..

A lot better then your usual ones... I think in this case though the overlayed text wasn't necessary (wasn't all that nicely done either but w.e). I'd say it's your best one yet.

needs lighting. for now, to add lighting at your level, take the soft round brush and paint some spots in the bg then set to soft light or overlay or something haah. that'll due till you get better overall then you'll figure out much better ways to add lighting.oh and make sure your border is on TOP of everthing

As for the text, I see you put it on overlay in this sig, which usually never looks good heres what you should do.Right click and go to blending options and the the text to soft light. Go down to drop shadow and make the settings 0, 0, 5; thats is going up to down.Then go to stroke and make a black one pixel stroke at about 20% opacity.

The picture and the affect on it look nice but the text/background are awful.
