Yeah, I imagine both sets of astronauts died or were unconscious very soon after cabin depressurization, since the altitude was so high.

If they didnt die from violently being thrown around the cabin first.

Wreckage indicated everyone was still in their harnesses so I’m going to assume asphyxiation happened first

I heard the seatbelts in Columbia especially were terrible.

Also several of them weren't wearing gloves, because the ones they had sucked, and without that protection it probably sped up the asphyxiation.
