Who are you pulling for the rest of the playoffs?

I was happy to see the Celtics loose last night. They've gained a lot from dirty plays and I'd hate to see them benefit from it by advancing.

From a general NBA fan's point of view it's good to see the Rockets advance. They have an injury prone center and may never get this chance again. They have a good bunch of guys (aside from Artest maybe) and I hope they give the lakers hell!

We're young and we'll have plenty of opportunities. (It really sucks that we didn't advance and the Mavericks did though). Hopefully we have the beginnings of a dynasty on our hands.

Cavs definitely. They are my 2nd favorite team, and LeBron is one of my favorite non-blazers. Me and Eric are the same on this. :)

I'll root for the Bulls to get into the second round, but beyond that my interest in the NBA just went from ten to about three.

 Yup, I'm pretty much boycotting the rest of the fucking playoffs beyond the Bulls. I think what the Bulls have done so far is pretty damn amazing. I hope they beat Boston.

I'd love to have Brad Miller on our team, and Kirk.

Bulls and Celtics, which had prior to the start of the playoffs been the series I was least interested in (no real rooting/hating interest, Eastern teams) has definitely become a classic. I am rooting for Chicago on the general principle that other things being equal I root for the underdog.

Miami, due to ex Blazers.

Anyone who plays the Lakers. It will be hard to switch gears and hope that Yao scores inside, Artest is a thug, Wafer goes off, etc. but a woman's got to do what she's got to do.

I don't like Dallas or Denver. Would root mildy for Dallas as the underdog.

Cavs and Celtics in the East, Rockets in the West.

I want Houston to win it all. I came out of this series with a lot of respect for that team. It was a very physical series, but it never got too chippy, and the players on the teams genuinely seemed to respect each other.

Cavs out of the East. I want to see LeBron in the Finals and wouldn't mind if he won a title.

I won't be rooting for anyone, however there are two teams I'll be rooting against....
LAL and Boston.

SA and Phoenix are already out!

Even though it sucks having lost to them, I have to go with the Rockets.

If Portland didn't play them in the first round I'd be really happy about them making it this far. I like most the players on the team, and I admit, am somewhat amused to a McGrady team finally making it out of the first round the year he's injured. Really not a fan of any of the teams left in the east, though I guess the Bulls would be my favorite out there. And yes, I realize both teams have pretty much no chance of winning it all. Maybe I just like underdogs.

I probably won't watch any playoff games where Cleveland isn't playing.

I just don't find the other teams that compelling. The Lakers look like they'll cream anybody in the West.

I guess I might watch Chicago for as far as they go. Last night pissed me off (having to miss half the Blazers game because of OT) but that's an epic series and Rose is a fun player to watch.

And I have a weird fascination with John Salmons. Seriously, WTF is up with that guy? When was the last time that a wingman went 7 years in the league being completely forgettable, and suddenly blew up like that at the age of 30?

Ok, I'll watch any playoff game with Cleveland or Chicago.

I don't really get why people are excited to see more Rockets basketball. 80 point games where they never seem to get the ball to their best player. I just don't get it.

There were times in the Blazers/Rockets series where I was frustrated for the Rockets because it was doing so many dumb things on offense. I don't think I've ever felt that way about an opponent before.

Rockets because they play the Lakers next.

Bulls because they could beat the Celtics.

Cleveland because LeBron James is the most dominate player I have seen since MJ.

I don't really like any of the remaining WC teams.

Denver has a bunch of thugs.

Dallas ... well I kind of want the whole Jason Kidd experiment to blow up in Mark Cuban's face, and I'm still pissed at Josh Howard for his antics during the national anthem last summer.

Houston ... fuck those guys. Ron Artest is still the piece of shit who ran into the crowd and tried to fight anyone within arm's length. And Luis Scola. Don't get me started on Luis Scola.

Lakers ... hate 'em. Want them to beat the Rockets, just because I want those donut-sucking Houstonians' satisfaction over advancing to be short-lived and replaced by the agony of losing. By the way ... Lakers vs. Rockets might be the series with the two worst fan bases in the NBA. Ignorant, fat Houston fan vs. more-about-the-scene Laker fan. Blech.

Out of the East, I'll pull for the Bulls first, then the Cavs. Anyone but the Celtics.

I can't lie. As a Duck fan, I like watch Aaron Brooks get by pretty much anyone at will. He may have the quickest handle in the NBA right now.

Cavs and Rockets. I love LeBron and Yao. I think it's an amazing story if LeBron, directly out of high school, takes the worst team in the league to the championship in 6 years. And I want Yao, a very unique player, and the Rockets to take out the Lakers cuz I hate the Lakers and I want it to look like we gave the Rockets the toughest battle.

Artest will have to play 4 more games like he did last night for the Rockets to be competitive. I'm looking forward to the Yao/Bynum match up.

I think the Mavericks match up well in the next round. Kidd matches up well with Billups

Cavs/Magic series in the east will be good too.

dont care about any other teams so the playoffs are dead to me...more so than the previous years now they just need to end so we can move on to the draft

Orlando, Chicago, and anyone who can kick Kobe in the nuts.

Basketball season is over for me except for getting ready for the next Pritchslap. I may have a game on in the back ground if there is nothing else on when working on the computer, but really, I couldn't care less.

Im gonna root for my beloved Lakers! :ghoti: Lakers in 5 baby!

Join me! I semi rooted for you guys, its only fair!

Rooting against Lakers, Celtics, Cavs, and Nuggets in that order. But as long as the Lakers don't win it I'll be happy. Sorry DaRizzle.

Hmm...I think I'll cheer for the Mavericks. I think they got jipped by the refs in the past. They're also an under-dog team. I just hate prima-donas like James and Bryant.

Now that the Blazers have been eliminated, I won't be pulling for any other team. I was a Blazers fan before I was an NBA fan. Heck, I was a Blazer fan before I was a learned what a double dribble was. If I have nothing better to do and a game is on, then I'll probably watch the playoffs. But I feel so dejected that I don't wanna feel any worse when watching the playoffs without the Blazers in it.

Definitely pulling for the Rockets in the West.

I like:

Yao: I respect his skills. It was frustrating as hell to watch our guys pick up Nancy calls guarding him all series long, but the fact of the matter is the guy is NOT a 7'6" stiff! I'm amazed at his shooting skills, and he probably has the best hook shot in the NBA. I like his humility too; he seems very team oriented for a superstar.

Battier: Has carved out a nice NBA career based on fundamental skills, hustle and smarts. Not spectacular in any single area, but a difference maker nonetheless. One of the best role players in the league.

Artest: My favorite whack job by far! He's very Rodman-like but much more likeable in that 'Crazy Uncle Larry' kind of way. The kind of dude that will show up at family reunions and might say the most profound, brilliant, inspiring things and then call your wife a c**t. Brilliant and maddening all in one package--much like Sheed, only actually a hard worker! (and I loved Sheed)

You gotta respect his work ethic and ability to frustrate opponents. I don't care what anyone says because I think the Blazers need a guy like him. Just enough badness to take the unbearable Boy Scout Shine off this squad. We need just a touch of evil on our team.

Brooks: A really nice player. Wow, he is amazingly fast and I like his demeanor.

Adelman: Still a great coach, and I especially enjoyed when he tried to sit in Yao's post-game media conference chair! He's a coach I'd like to see get a title.

Can't hate on that team. I'd like to see them make it out of the West but I don't see them faring well against the Lakers.

I'll be amazed if the Rockets can win one game against the Lakers. Remember the rockets got swept 4-0 during the regular season against the lakers.
