Teams looking for a veteran midseason pickup at an attractive price could do a lot worse than former Nuggets/Hornets forward Chris Anderson, a.k.a. The Birdman. That's when Anderson's two-year suspension for violating the league's drug policy expires. Anderson has been working out in Las Vegas getting ready to resume his career, and it's anticipated that the Hornets, who last held his rights, will not reinstate his contract (3 1/2 years left on a four-year, $14 million deal), which will make Anderson a free agent. "He's exceeded expectations in every area," reports Anderson's agent, Steve Heumann. "We're moving forward to the first applicable moment to apply for reinstatement." Anderson turned 29 in July and has several years of NBA experience under his belt. He would be the first player to come back from a drug suspension and actually play in the NBA</p>

I live in New orleans, so I watched alot of him! He's a pretty fun player to watch, great energy, very animated, he was just all over the place.

I was a member in the previous board however it wasn't accepting my log-on here when I tried to access the new board. So, I had to re-register and it is now showine me as new user. Did I do something wrong? I had several hundred posts with my Stretcherino tag on the old boards. Let me know what happened. The old board was easier to follow in my opinion.</p>

Eh, I think judging a person based on their appearance (prejudice) is unethical. I just can't help but look at this tatted up white guy with narsty hair and find a distaste for them. While there's nothing wrong with finding a certain style unfashionable, making associations to character and personality is different matter.

It really has nothing to do with ethics. We all make judgments about the way people look or act or talk; instantaneous subconscious reactions that we can't control. It may be distasteful--even when we realise that we are doing it ourselves--but it's not unethical. Now, if we charge someone more for our service for the way they look--that is probably unethical. Check out the movie The Breakfast Club for a look at stereotypes that turn out to be misguided.

</p> i agree with you, there. in the same way i prefer to see a black man with the hair real short, instead of corn rows or w/e. i just think he looks cooler, and more..."professional"(?)

i like the birdman...he is a legitimate energy guy who goes after those blks and rebs without regard to self...can be used to keep the energy up when staters sit down or during garbage minutes...</p>
