I was just thinking how the old Rudy would have loved to play in Stotts's system. He could have been the perfect bench player coming off the bench too.

We should send Sly to Madrid to bring that guy back!

I also hate that there is some brainwashed laker fan sitting courtside.

That Rudy was fun to watch and would have great moments in this offense.

I want to stay a good defensive team. Rudy will not bring that nor does he really want to be here. Makes no sense to me. Rudy didn't really light up the FIBA games either.

Great point mags, I think the old Rudy would fit perfectly. I don't think the new Rudy would want to be here though.

yeah..what happened to that guy? That was a great little Rudy run in that game. He was flashy until he got clocked by Ariza

He's been playing SF since leaving the NBA - just what we need behind Nic.

I watched him in Denver and playing with the Spanish national team and honestly, he just didn't seem the same player he started out to be.

We really don't need the old Rudy. We need another vet scorer off the bench. And honestly, I think he would fit in nicely.

Imagine the alley oops he would toss to Matthews, Aldridge, Lillard and Batum? Look at my signature...

Yep. Rudy ran a nice P&R and that Oop was a hoot!

Is calling Rudy Fernandez a veteran stretching it? He only played in the league for 5 years, and last time he did Lillard was still cramming for final exams. At 29 he's the same age as Aldridge but has played significantly less meaningful NBA basketball.

I loved having Rudy at first but would much rather having Sergio back. That kid made himself into a player!

Rudy's biggest problem wasn't Nate, it was Brandon. Rudy's biggest strength was playing in a high motion, freelancing style. Brandon's biggest strength was breaking down his man, driving the lane, and either going to the hoop or passing to an open shooter. All Nate did was decide to play the style that was statistically much more efficient while Brandon was on the floor.

Yeah, bring back Sergio, he can intimidate Hard-on with his Spaniard beard.

Rudy makes more money over there than we can probably pay him. Not to mention I doubt he liked it here. I would loooove old Rudy in stotts system

My god "Old Rudy" as our scorer off the bench would be smoking hot. But that guy is no more, and that ship has sailed.

I know right?!?! It was weird because I found this animated gif on my signature and I was thinking about him.

The Old Rudy would made us unstoppable...
