[Riddle] The Paradox, Quite difficult!

Many of you may have heard this before, but I thought I'd post it anyways (and no it's not the retarded "missing" dollar riddle), especially if you ever watched yu-gi-oh and saw the episode with the paradox brothers.

The Paradox
Many years of searching has led you to all the answers of life, and a tropical paradise without sin or suffering.

The only problem is, the search has led you to two doors, guarded by twin brothers.
The brothers together say "We are the paradox brothers who guard the holy paths. One of these doors leads to paradise; the other leads to certain death. You may ask one of us one question to determine the correct path; but from this point on one of us will always tell the truth while the other will tell only lies."

What question should you ask?

SARAH: Then the other door leads to the castle, and this door leads to certain death.
ALPH: He could be telling the truth.
SARAH: But then you wouldn?t be, so if you said he said yes, then the answer is no.
ALPH: But, I could be telling the truth.
SARAH: Then he?d be lying. And the answer would still be NO!

thats hard coz the guy who told you that sentance might be lying.

but if the guy who told you that wasnt lying id just ask him what colour shirt or jumper or some peice of clothing im wearing is, if he tells me the right colour then hes telling the truth

The only thing I could think of is you ask one if the other guy is his brother then you could tell which one is lying but you wouldn't know which door to open still

yea you ask one of them what colour say a jumper is, says its red and the guy doesnt say red hes lying, but if the guy says it is red then hes telling the truth.

thats only one question to one guy

edit: i get what you mean now, i thought each brother was standing at a door and the liar represented the wrong door and the truth teller was the right door.
