I think the lad is spot on! The Democrats end game is not to prove any collusion with Russia.
The end game is to chisel away some Trump support, the Trump voters.

"Following his closed door testimony before a Senate panel about his contacts with Russia, Jared Kushner briefly appeared outside the White House to make a statement. He said that suggesting Donald Trump did not win the election fairly "ridicules those who voted for him."

It's funny, the main stream American media hardly mention this Kushner statement today.

The BBC makes it the salient point. I agree.
The Democrats are not dumb enough to think the Russians influenced the deplorables. They just want to pry a few loose with ridicule. Meanwhile back at the ranch, the masses of cool-aid drinkers love it, as witnessed on S2.

This argument about Russia is similar to one about Jerry Rice.

Jerry used Stickum at one point in his career, so many believe that there should be an asterisk next to his name.

But.....Stickum didn't run those routes or break NFL records. Stickum didn't push him to work his body and his game better than anyone else who has ever played the game of football.

Likewise.....Russia didn't put those ballots in the voting box. Russia didn't manipulate the media. Russia didn't label half the country a bunch of bitter clingers and deplorables.

I'm not sure what the Democrats are hoping to find here. But Russia didn't cause Hillary to lose. Hillary lost because she was an arrogant cunt who was a terrible candidate.

And Trump won because we voted for him.
