Since I know my g/f has absolutely no knowledge of me going to this forum I decided it would be safe to post these pictures here as I know a few of you were interested in seeing for yourselves. Here's the engagement ring - 24 k white gold - 1 k diamond teardrop cut. $3,700 finally paid off. Woo!

I'm planning to "pop" the question on December 26, which is our anniversary. I'm still thinking about how I want to do it, but I'm sure I'll come up with something really unique before that time and share it here. It has to be original, or at least something I've never heard of anyone else doing. lol

Also, the camera is a GE Mini Cam for the computer and it works well when taking pics of yourself, not objects up close. I'd like to save up for a good digital camera for around $700 that can be used to link directly to the PC.
