So last year I got sunburnt really fucking bad saturday. I'll be wearing sunblock this year.
We had a two games between the 1st and 2nd game.
Being that Portland area isn't really my forte... Where is a good place to chill out not in the direct sunlight?
I'm not trying to get second degree burns this year.
Looking at you @Orion Bailey aka gm/coach/president of basketball ops/whatever title you want.

Also @dviss1 @hoopsjock
Last year Koin was an ass team. One of them attempted to get under Torey's skin last year.
Then they had this dude with a headband who never stopped talking.(always one person who can't play at all, but is the loudest on the court.)

Hmm. Well as gmbro, i say lube up. It will help keep the hands of the opponents off ya.

As far as shade. Id say the parking lot might be the best place for that. I will section off an area for rp2 ballers and maybe have a cooler full of ice and water.

Gotta take care of my players man!!!

I don't really want to pay for parking if I don't have to.

Also--my apologies to @honkicracker for not including you in my description, since I have never seen you on the court and therefore have no idea how you play.

There's a gravel patch by Broadway that's usually Taxi service for games that might be unoccupied.

It doesn't matter if I'm mentioned or not.
Personally I'd rather people not talk about my game. Always has made me uncomfortable.
The only thing I'll say is this.
I'm prolly the only player in the media bracket who could make scoring difficult for @BonesJones
He'd still score no doubt. But he'd have to work much, much harder than he did last year.

We'll play a little 1v1 and see how it goes then.

That's my game too. Really, that was my only purpose in showing up to the practices--to provide a defensive presence to help prep the guys for the tourney. I can't score at all, but I can pass, rebound and defend.

Eh I can score if I need to.
I'd rather just pick and choose my spots as being super competitive isn't really my thing anymore.
Someone can be better than I, or more skilled than I and it doesn't bother me.

Just defense has always been a thing.
Just ask the guy who wouldn't shut up about how easily he could score on me last year.
Theres a video of him coming up with nothing but air on a 3rd shot in a row. Only for me to tell him he shoots like Westbrook.
The guy was @BonesJones height, certainly not as quick, nor did he have the endurance Torey does. Nor was he as skilled as Torey is.
But at the end of the day this guy trying to 'prove' he can score on me. Let @BonesJones get the game close again and force them to call a timeout.
Only when this guy decided to pass the ball and find our 3rd who was a weaker defender than both Torey and I did they start to score again.
It actually bothers me still a little that I was forced to switch off of this guy because our 3rd wasn't playing tight enough defense on his man. It would've allowed a wide open 3 if I didn't.
Siiigh.
Oh well this year from the sounds of things, we won't have these issues with @hoopsjock & @dviss1
Cause I know @BonesJones can move his feet. If he says Hoops and Dviss can as well. I trust his judgement.

There are some who are delusional in thinking the blazers are completely worthless. Id much rather read king over them. ;)

Ive said it before.
You cant win unless you believe you can win.
Top to bottom. Belief in oneself is what separates the good from the great at the pro level.
That belief can help to be cemented when the fans believe too. Sometimes irrationally so.
