I very much doubt that Meyers bought that and instead it was given to him by the Timbers.

And im pretty sure he was just supporting and being a good sport, but
It sure does look like he is trying to say. Hey!! Its me. Meyers is here! Lol

quality post right here! I'm going to cheer for him to play well all season. I'm bored with the stigma he's got around here...ready to see him come off the bench and hold his own...he actually did that last season and definitely did not deserve to be booed for entering a home game...that one actually pissed me off..Meyers was wearing that same jersey while helping out with homeless people earlier that day. Handing out food and water in this heat. Give this dude a break. I know he hasn’t lived up to expectations and may never, but he is a quality dude. Family guy who has been thru a lot. Loves this city and it’s people. I joke and crack on here as much as anybody, but ease off this dude. He’s just a big sensitive guy from a small Midwest town who likes to joke around and happens to be 7’0” and got somebody to give him a ton of money because of it. He’s not out getting in fights at bars and getting DUIs.

I can understand the hate. It’s normal for fans to feel that way towards somebody who has not panned out like they think he should. Just wanted to shed some light, whether wanted or not. I’ve seen this guy pay for peoples meals at restaurants on the road. He’s a big ass kid making a ton of money playing a game.quality post right here! I think that's the source of frustration for a lot of fans who want him to be more than just a kid making money playing a game, but to be a competitor demonstrating a desire to be great. I don't know if he has that internal competitive fire to maximize his physical potential, and while that should be OK, in the minds of many, it just isn't.He’s a big ass kid making a ton of money playing a game.
I agreed two seasons ago and the seasons leading up to it but last season he played in 33 games avg 7minutes a game and rebounded the ball really well...played in the paint...in such a small sample size he did play well...with Ed gone I expect he'll get more court time this year..last season the only complaint I had was the flexing and posing....I think that's the source of frustration for a lot of fans who want him to be more than just a kid making money playing a game, but to be a competitor demonstrating a desire to be great. I suspect the same, and I'm hoping he is able to produce reasonably well in the role. However, I won't deny also hoping for the Koufos trade that has been suggested elsewhere so that Meyers can be slid back to third string.with Ed gone I expect he'll get more court time this year

I work with one of the top software engineers in the world an MIT grad and researcher, and professor Doesn’t always mean I’m passionate about Being a software engineer.I think the lack of fire is a bit of a board narrative. He's spent the past two summers working with Drew Hanlen on his game.
That dude in the grey tank in the last game looked like he was getting pissed.

Absolutely was just pointing out correlation vs causation.Neither does a bunch of guys who don't know you talking shit about you mean much of anything.
I think Meyers' problems are primarily mental: Too slow of reaction time, tendency to lose confidence in his shot.
Hey kept saying "this is just for fun" whenever dviss said something and that he was way too intense for the media bracket. That guy was on KOIN News later that night. That dude in the grey tank in the last game looked like he was getting pissed.
Isn't "this is just for fun" code for "I don't like the fact that your team is better than mine"?Hey kept saying "this is just for fun" whenever dviss said something and that he was way too intense for the media bracket. That guy was on KOIN News later that night.

I tend to agree, unfortunately he is blessed with boyish good looks. Not griddle hard stone. No matter how hard he works, he will still look like an easy going loafer.
I know. I look like a complete jackass. For years i tried to change it. Now i just accept how i look and follow suit with the appropriate personality. And this is exactly why i think he should play beach volleyball. I think he would dominate and become beloved. Maybe even put ithe on the map for sports or something.

How dare you insult the great @Orion Bailey by calling him a person like all of us!No offense, but Saturday. You just looked like a person.
No different from any of us.
How are you feeling today? No offense, but Saturday. You just looked like a person.

Damn that sucks! I have a game in a couple hours and I'm not going to be moving very well.My knees are absolutely shot right now. Hard to stand up from a seated position right now.
How are you feeling today?
That's rough, I hope you feel better soon.I went to my doctor.
As @dviss1 said there are no mild concussions.
But my doctor diagnosed me with a concussion.
Which I was actually surprised she was so certain of the diagnosis after just looking at my eyes and asking me questions.
I figured they'd have more tests or something? Or at least have me come back in a week.
IDK I've never had a concussion so I don't know.
My head hurts, especially where I was hit.
Looking at things too long is taxing so I don't think I'll be spending much time on this forum until I feel better.
Or the TV/Internet.
I'm sluggish and I'm told that I'm repeating myself a bit often.
My fiancee is less than pleased. In fact she is mad at me right now because I dove home yesterday.
But it comes and goes.
An hour ago I was completely fine.
Had to stop writing this up and come back to it because focusing hurt a bit more than I'd like to admit.
What doesn't come and go is the eye I was hit in, it's painful to move it. No damage, just painful.
