No ifs ands or buts… Rip City is no longer resting in peace… it has risen like a phoenix and IT IS BACK. Oh yeah… we are not bleeding Blazer red… not wounded at all… but Blazer red it is flowing loud and proud in our veins and pounding like roaring thundersticks.

Now… some of you may be too young to remember. There are other fans around the league that may have forgotten that it was possible for a city to become so focused on their team that the whole city just seems to buzz. Signs will appear in car windows… home windows… stores. It has been awhile… but Rip City is no longer hiding in the woods… it is back… and there is nothing on this planet that Rip City likes more than the Lakers in town on a Friday night in spring.

Ah yes… the universe is once again in balance. None of the current Lakers can probably even remember the true glory of Rip City. The current Blazers have been riding the wave… but they may not even know the true power of what is under their feet. Friday they get another taste.

Draws will drop. Ears will ring. High fives will fly to strangers. Babies too young to walk will soar in the air on waves of thunderous clapping, clad in Blazer red... and of course… we will dance in the isles in a celebration so fierce that even those that don’t truly understand what is happening will join in.

Get ready.

Get sleep while you can.

Rip City is back.

If they opened up the Memorial Coliseum to telecast Blazer home playoff games on a big-screen and charged, say, $5 or $7 per ticket, I would go. (as soon as I get there, that is! :D )

ABM... that is a great idea... I bet a lot of people would. Hell... put it on big screen outside the RG and I bet a lot of people would show up.

I've gone for so long, what about parking? Would it stand up to both arenas?

Then, of course, there's always MAX. ;)

Not sure.. Max is what I have always done. I honestly have never parked at the arena.

Park at the Smart Park on 4th and Morrison, then jump on the Max on either 3rd and Yamhill or First and Oak.

You pay $5 max for parking depending on the day, the MAX is in the free zone, plus if you want to, you can have stops at Buffalo Wild Wings, Rock Bottom, Kell's, or McFadden's on the way to the game!

:)

Yes. Jim Taylor to be exact.

Nice! make it happen ABM and I will wear an ABM shirt to every away game there! oh and se eif they can get some chants going before the game like at Autzen with their "Go.......... DUCKS!" chant :pimp:
