I'm sure Pops will be drinking plenty of his Oregon made wine with that lineup. Sorry, not impressed.

As for Powell the guy is a career 6.6ppg player. What makes that so great?
What's special about Ed Davis?

Powell is very efficient inside the arc, has a developing 3pt shot, and is a great cutter/lob target and a good defender. +2.7 BPM last year for a bad team. Great fit at PF next to Olynyk, who's also underrated (he had a +2.9 BPM Last year).

I think Pop would love coaching Doncic, much more than LMA, and Kawhis burnt that bridge.

Trying hard To get out of cap hell. 140M for this team... now with Lee easier to move and Hardaway as a potent replacemt for DDR I have a better shot at managing this roster.
Lee has two more years left, he's not expiring haha. Poeltl is cheap, and wouldve been a great replacememt for Valanciunas, who's salary you could've traded away.

If you got picks back that'd be different IMO.

@hoopsjock Okay I'm not falling asleep anymore stop I got it right. If you accept it, post the trade as is. If not, take yourself out and give Cleveland my 2019 1st.

CLE Gets: Kawhi Leonard, Danillo Gallinari, Ekpe Udoh, Thabo Sefelosha (TPE), 2019 CLE 1st,
SAS Gets: #5, #8, #21, 2020 CLE 1st (Top 3 Protected), Dwight Powell, Jonas Jerebko, Cedi Osman, Ante Zizic,
UTA Gets: #33, J.R. Smith, Kevin Love, 2020 SAS 2nd
DAL Gets: #13, LaMarcus Aldridge
ATL Gets: 2022 CLE 1st, 2020 SAS 2nd, 2021 SAS 2nd
Brah......
You have the SA 2020 2nd rounder going two places. Cleveland may not be able to trade their 2022 1st if there is protections on the 2020 one.

We still have to figure out the future protections of the Cavs' 2020 and 2022 pick to make them legit.

Yeah, those names will bring shivers to the GS Warriors. Ed Davis is a role player, not a starter for a contending team. Exactly what Powell and Olynyck are.

Why? This is a one year game you guys are dealing with. Future draft picks are basically useless and protection means nothing.

The cavs 2020 is top 3....

Right. I say no protections and just do it

Cup, I appreciate your commentary but we are trying to keep this realistic. How do you know we won't continue this after this summer?

I think we should do it next summer with teams carried over but all GMs must swap. And only half joking.

I still don't think SAS would want to blow it up if they lost Leonard personally but I not their GM so whatevs.

He can do what he wants. Absolutely

Yep. There are some moves I probably wouldn't have done with Boston. But, thats me. Like there are some moves you wouldn't have done if you were GM of my teams

He can do what he wants. Absolutely. Just saying I think Pops would say peace out!
Let him do it.
See this is kind of hypocritical of him though. He didn't want GronkBrady to be the Blazers because he knew he would try to blow them up and he didn't think that was realistic but now he is doing something even more unlikely with the Spurs.
