RIP

A genius of words, a truly amazing author. An American treasure, who will no doubt be missed, dearly. A lot of the JBBers that don't know him will know him soon enough. . . he wrote Slaughterhouse-Five, and Cat's Cradle. Here is a great tribute to him. . . they called him the 20th Century Mark Twain, he even looked like him.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Vonnegut

I find it at least slightly ironic that we're actually beginning to read The Slaugtherhouse Five in my lit class. But, anyways, RIP Kurt. I think it might have actually been for the best, based on what had recently happened to him with the brain injuries.

LOL I just finished an essay on Slaughterhouse Five in my 12th grade English class. Only found out today he'd died.

It's sad to see him go especially in the day and age we're living in now. People who have his perspective, knowledge and power of pen don't exist in great numbers.
