Haha, so roughly half of the seasoning is salt and MSG. mmm. Probably the same can be said for all cheap, but tasty food.

Speaking of fried chicken and msg, has anyone had the cajon sparkle at popeye's? I'm pretty sure that is 99% msg.

 I hear ya. Man, I quit using msg about 10 years ago.

I haven't had KFC in probably 15 years, and even then it was probably on the 2nd time in my life I ever had it.

I have no idea what KFC chicken tastes like and if it's anything special.

I like the idea of having a thread were we could share recipes (famous or not).

I also like starting new sentences with I.

Hellzya! Just remember I'm getting married may 18th and gone 2 weeks after on honeymoon.

OK, early/mid June? I'm gonna drive. Can visit a few peeps on the way down.

PS: Wish I could be there for the wedding.

PSS: I'm single now, so will expect your gal to provide friends.

I have to admit, that goddess pool is a real turn-on...

Yeah man. You have a place to stay at our house.

June 16th is Father's Day. I was thinking about heading south on Friday the 7th, getting to your place (Lancaster?) on Sunday the 9th...spending about 3 days in and around the area before heading back home on, say, Wednesday. Something like that. :)

I used to season the shit out of my chicken breasts before throwing them on the grill, but I started to bake them recently in a light broth and just dip it in some side sauces after they come out of the oven, and one of the best sauces I've made recently is a knock-off of Raising Cane's sauce -

Cane's sauce -

1⁄2 cup mayonnaise

1⁄4 cup ketchup

1⁄2 tablespoon garlic powder

1⁄2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Generous amount of black pepper (cover surface two or three times and mix in)

Let sit overnight

Thanks, looks tasty, I'll have to check it out.

I love the taste of freshly ground pepper. :)
