McCarver was a former Cardinal which is cool in my book and he was a catcher in the MLB for over 20 years which means he had some balls.

But, my goodness, that guy was maybe the most putrid announcer I ever listened to.

I agree with you 100%. When he spoke, I thought it was "farm" report.
