Week 8 Recap:
--In the game of the week, Team Perez got a huge win against TrailBlazer18 to put him squarely in the playoff race.
--RipCityWarrior had not only the high score of the week, but got a huge win over Blazersland.com which gives him a chance at the #1 seed. His big week also nearly tied him with Bone Corps for the overall point lead. RipCityWarrior basically just needs a win to clinch, as his point total should win him any tiebreakers between Perez and Sedated Fork. Blazersland.com is still in good shape, as all he needs is one more win to clinch a playoff spot.
--Bone Corps got a huge win over Sedated Fork to give him a 7-2 record and tie him for the #1 spot with Blazersland.com. This knocked Sedated Fork to 4-5, tying him with Perez for the final playoff spot. Bone Corps clinches a playoff spot with a win or a Sedated Fork loss, and he's all but guaranteed himself a 1st Round BYE.
--BoboBREWSKI kept his playoff hopes alive by beating Lonestar Circus (who didn't set his lineup). BoboBREWSKI is now 3-6. BREWSKI has lost both games to Sedated Fork, and games to TrailBlazer18 and Team Perez, which are the three teams immediately ahead of him in the standings. He has a tough schedule the next couple weeks, facing Bone Corps and RipCityWarrior. He then finishes against Perez and TB18, which could be big games, or could be formalities.
Week 10 Preview:
-Bobobrewski (3-6) goes up against Bone Corps (7-2). This is likely a must win for BoboBrewski.
-RipCityWarrior (6-3) goes against Lonestar Circus (0-9). This is basically a sure win for RipCityWarrior, and the more interesting thing to watch will be his battle with Bone Corps for the overall points lead, as well as if he can add another weekly high score to his record.
-In the game of the week, Sedated Fork (4-5) is going against Team Perez (4-5). Team Perez got a huge win against TrailBlazer18 last week, and got some help from Bone Corps win over Sedated Fork in order to bring these teams to a tie. Sedated Fork beat Perez in their previous meeting, so Sedated Fork gets the tiebreaker with a win, and Perez would likely get the tiebreaker with a win because he has more total points this season.
-Speaking of Team Perez (3-5), he faces TrailBlazer18 (5-3). A win by Perez would really tighten up the race for the playoffs between him, RipCityWarrior, TrailBlazer18, and Sedated Fork. A win by TrailBlazer18 would almost gauruntee him a playoff birth, as he'd be 3 Games Ahead of Perez with 4 Weeks left, and he would own the tiebreaker. Perez would essentially have to win all 4 remaining games, while TB18 would have to lose his remaining 4. This is a huge game for both teams.
