By the way, HCP, you can stop with the #64wins needling. I'm putting you on ignore.
You brought up 23 wins all last year, and you've needled Nikolokous several times about Mike Conley. You do the same exact thing.

Um last year, he made a bet and didn't pay me. I talked about our bet which was 20 wins by All Star break. Nik is wrong on so much, it's hard not to point it out. I'm only guilty of hoping the best for my team and if they want to block me, they can. I'm still following Nik but HCP is dead to me.

Exactly. So instead of trying to get your bracket right, you put no thought into it and pick a completely vanilla bracket to try to win.

That's no fun. If everyone did that there'd be no point. But you then win at the expense of the people that don't.
So I should pick the losers? I did pick upsets for Michigan and Oregon. Besides that, it doesn't take much thought to do basic math.

And thought Dame would get worse without Aldridge. The list goes on and on.
I don't think he ever said Dame would get worse, I think he claimed the team would be better if we still had Aldridge. We probably would be better with Aldridge on this roster, but we also wouldn't have this roster or last seasons roster had LA re-signed here, so the argument doesn't really make sense.

I might be wrong, but I said Dame was going to struggle and have to work harder to put up the same or better numbers because we lost 4 of our starters. What was I thinking? Can't believe I went out on such a limb. All we had coming back was an unproven CJ and bench players. Wonder why I claimed we'd only win 23 games like the experts did. What was I thinking? What was YOUR excuse JINX? #64Wins

That is still the same thing - no matter how you slice it.

You said 64 wins, and you were wrong. Nik has said things that were wrong. It happens. Just don't say it's okay for you to do it but not others. That's not fair. If you can do it to others, it's only fair to expect things you were wrong about to be brought up.

You should quit working up at the Plaid Pantry and write books on relationships and communication. I'd buy one FAMS!

You still won't let that shit go? Jeez dude. That shits fine with. Most on.

And you're wrong on a lot of stuff too, but you call out anyone who disagrees with you and is wrong over and over again. Yhen complain when they do the same. It's hypocritical.

He said Dame would get worse because he wouldn't have Aldridge commanding double teams.

Jesus....^ it even transfers over to COLLEGE ball as well?

You're doing well Eric. My bracket is like watching a gif of a dumpster fire on repeat for an entire week. In the background, Tommy Wiseau is reciting his new one man play and you have no way to make him stop.
If by well you mean getting knocked out of first place when the Ducks get murdered then yeah hes doing aiight.

Practically everybody I know told me Oregon was fucked when Boucher went down in the Pac-12 tournament. Literally every game is, "Oh they lucked out but now they are going to lose." If Altman done this at Gonzaga, everybody would be on their knees kissing his nuts right now. It boggles the mind! Did he win almost 600 Division One games through good intentions?

They did kind of luck into it lol.

Yeah, if he did what he's doing at a mid-major instead of at a Pac-12 school then yeah, he would get more props. Duh. It's a lot harder to do at a mid-major.

The program at Oregon was in tatters when Kent left. They almost went on probation and there weren't even enough players on the team for an intersquad scrimmage. And they still won 20 games and won a post season tournament. Gonzaga was hardly a crappy team when Few inherited it. So please don't give me that.

Turning a mid-major into a national powerhouse with 18 straight tournament appearances is a lot more difficult than taking a Pac-12 school with recruiting power and taking a few years to turn it around. That happens all the time. How many mid-major powerhouses do you see other than Wichita State and Gonzaga?

Exactly.
