DAVE D'ALESSANDRO article" One reason this team was kept together was because of Nenad Krstic, and he's not ready yet," the Nets forward said. "We're missing our 17-point a game scorer. Any intelligent person could be like, 'You know what, the Nets are struggling -- field-goal percentage, getting up shots, scoring points.' Well, they have a guy on the roster that over the course of his career could put up those type of numbers who could help in those areas."

Our 3 on 5 game has taken us so far and this season we are feeling the reprecautions our consistant 10-20 pt, were covered up by Mikki and Eddie House last season. Dave D'Alessandros theory start Boone and WIlliams, my theory waive Malik, and I hate to say it but sign C-Web. Second idea, try and trade for Channing Frye, hisyoung but he can knock down shots. I don't care if we might have to give up a pick

Frye sucks, he isn't half the player Krstic was and Webber wants to play for a contender.

I guess RJ isn't seeing the "little things" Collins is doing.

My Theory: For now, let's go with Sean plus whoever, and after a month or so, let's start Sean and Krstic. They can mesh and get in the groove by april. And come playoff time, we will have a great frontcourt!

Malik should be waived and Collins should be relegated to small minutes off the bench. Start Boone at Center ans Williams at PF with Magliore off the Bench.

Sean Williams32 mins @ PF

Josh Boone25 mins @ Center,7 mins @ PF

Jamal Magliore 23 mins @ Center

Boki Nachbar 9 mins @ PF

Frye is garbage. Not worth trading for.

I definitely think Sean should start, though. We should go with as athletic a line-up as possible. I'd like to see how a Kidd/Carter/Wright/Jefferson/Williams line-up would look in certain situations. Small, I know, but imagine the possibility of how many fast breaks could be triggered by a Williams block. Think it's worth a try, because what we're doing now isn't working anyway.

Frye is solid, run plays designed for Kristicfor Fryeand watch, yall will be screaming his an allstar or 6th man of the year

if we can get Frye for cheap, like Boki, then do it.

Williams looked bad in the last 5 or so games, very bad. But, I guess, he'll never learn if he is not playing. And does anybody else beside me experience nervous tic when he hears this name - Malik Allen??

^ I get that feeling too Belarus. Allen just isn't starter material. He'd work better coming off the bench and hitting a few open jumpers here and there, that's all we need of him. He's nowhere NEAR the mikki moore replacement he was being hyped as.

Williams is gettin' overrated now.He aint ready 2 start yet, just check the last 5 games.

Better to say, Williams is not playing up to the hype he created with his game in the first 15 games.

QUOTE (soul driver)

so maybe Sean isn't ready to start yet...but who is? Boon?

I like Allen,he's doin' a good job out there.

Jump a building.

I'd rather have Williams learn from his mistakes considering Allen isn't learning from his.

Williams bad play of recent has to due with the fact teams are respecting him. Rather than drive into the lane, they settle with jumpers which40% of them are going in from long range. As for on offense, guys are sticking close to him unlike when they cover Collins yet we can't take advantage of that either.

Williams is causing teams not to drive into the paint, hardly playing terrible IMO. Matter of fact him being in the game is beneficial to the teams' interior D

What about a Sean Williams/Josh Boone lineup?

Last season I just loved it whenever Kidd and Boone were on the same court together. It was like I was seeing a whole different Boone out there as opposed to when he gets down on himself.

With the way the Nets have been playing lately, it's probably a better idea to have a strong defensive unit out there along with Kidd, VC, and RJ.

That is, have Williams, Boone, and Collins in (if they're all doing well on defense).

And then, when VC, RJ, and Kidd aren't in, bring in other guys that can knock down shots. That's what would make sense to me.

If Mikki Moore had no spine and played 75% less defense, he would be Channing Frye.

I would rather watch Malik Allen than Frye.

ok wow now your overdoing it

Whoever says Frye is garbage I guess they havent watch him play. He can knock down shots he would be a perfect fit for this team

Why do people want to add soft big men to the Nets?

They're so used to it. That's all we've seen the past couple years.

Also, I doubt many people realize that there's 2 ends of the court.
