"Robbie Madison, you are the fucking man"

I had thought, in light of that Super Bowl "wardrobe malfunction", that there were automatically supposed to be (at least a few seconds) time delays for all live televised events?

I guess not.

somehow not as impressive as traditional jumps

I believe he still holds the distance record, as well. Interestingly enough, set one year ago on New Year's Eve.

I watched it live. Very cool, very impressive.

The dude flipping the truck was cool also.

Robbie is just flat out crazy.

Yes, he does hold the world distance jumping record.

He has broken it again since the La Vegas distance jump last New Years.

He jumped 351ft in Melbourne last year. He jumped further in practice.

He stuffed up his first jump, and didn't get the record.

The second attempt, he got the record, but wasn't happy with his landing, so he went again trying to get the perfect jump.

His third attempt, he went even further, and this time was happy with the jump.

Robbie was jumping off against a couple of Americans that night.

They just didn't have the balls to set their ramp as far back as his.

I can't remember exactly what Robbie said before the jumps, but it was something like:

"I can't see how they're going to beat me. The only way they're going to jump further than me, is if they go faster than me. That's not going to happen."

I don't think it matters for cable channels.

his landing looked sketchy in vegas, thats something you def dont live from if you bail.

I saw it live. I think going over a football field was even better.
