I told you guys. It’s not a matter of IF it’s WHEN he will be injured again…

Why he doesn’t medically retire is beyond me

He hasn't been worth anything for a long time. If we could have traded him for a pick we should have definitely traded him for a pick.

I kind of doubt we could have traded him for a pick. But if we could have and we didn't that was a big mistake.

He's still good when he plays... like all defense first team good. That's why he doesn't retire and you didn't tell anyone anything, everyone knows that Rob has a very limited shelf life. I will tell you something though, if we want to, a team will send value for Rob this off season... probably not a first but either multiple second rounders or us sending Rob and a second for a protected FRP.

I think you're dreaming

no team is going to give up any substantive value for Timelord. It's a terrible bet

over the last 3 seasons he's played in 61 games and missed 185 (24.8%); over the last 2 seasons he's played in 26 games and missed 138 games (15.9%). And even when he does play he can only play 20 minutes a game, or less

He might be a talent, but unless he's gonna take up coaching he really doesn't do the team any good at this point.

I suspect that's the only reason they truly kept him around, to fill that Haslem role within the team. There's a lot that the right teammate can convey that coaches can't. This team is being built around activity/length/defense, which RW3 knows in spades.

And luckily his contract is not that bad. And it ends after next season anyways.

Gotta get rid of him

Don't think we can

No takers

Should have dropped him on the Lakers when we had the chance.

Moving him should be easy.

Just grab the handles on his wheelchair and push.

Meyers Leonard is retired and his knees seem to be fine. Maybe he would be interested in selling his for a knee transplant.

Rob will recover and take Ed Davis' spot on the championship Philippines basketball team Gilas Pilipinas ..a team with 25 championships. Ed got to the dance over there! I think he still plays for them.

Some of these guys like Rob should consider the 3on3 ball game...easy on the knees..even Greg Oden played some 3 ball. Half court. Short games. OG hoops.

He’s only out for the season. He’ll be back for playoffs. Rest him during the first round so that he’s fresh for second round.
I'm thinkin' he's toast...would be great if he responds but at some pt history repeats itself. Duop has looked great and Ayton will be back..we have 3 bigs for the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised to see Chauncey put him on the staff as a big man coach, defensive coordinator role. A guy who can command a locker room. That's what Lue did for Chauncey with the Clippers.

If he is out for 4 weeks, that would very likely include the Playoffs as well. The season ends in 3 weeks on April 13. As brittle as he is, I can't imaging rushing him back early and trying to get his rehab, cardio and fitness up to be able to participate in a Play-in game.
