Well, maybe not "infinitely". But definitely "more".We can immediately see that Robin Lopez was infinitely more valuable than his 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game make him out to be.

I totally agree. When Oshey traded for Lopez and T-Rob, everybody was laughing at the Blazers. Who's laughing now bitches?!
Lopez is the least eye-catching player in the starting lineup
Imagine if he develops offense like his brother..
Half the team is in a contract year. Looks like Olshey wants salary cap flexibility for next summer. I was trying to think of a halfway plausible target and the name that came to mind was Marc Gasol. Now THAT would make Lopez feel underappreciated.
(If Rolo can stay consistently healthy, I'm not even sure that Marc Gasol would be a huge upgrade. But I'd still get excited, I must confess.)
Gasol is probably scared to sign here. Zbo has told him stories about people drag racing in downtown with guns in their car, girls being sexually violated in hotel suites and all night parties at houses in West Linn. You know, all the things that made Zbo eventually leave here.
I think Marc would be a HUGE upgrade. I am just concerned about the combination of his health and his salary.Half the team is in a contract year. We may have this same conversation with Kaman as well. Aldridge will benefit with 2 legit 7 footers backing him up. Also, I believe Kaman will benefit greatly with Aldridge on the floor too.
Every center who plays alongside Aldridge sees his stats jump (rebounding and the exotic newer stats, as I demonstrated above)...Przybilla, Camby, etc. It's because there is so much dirty work available, since prima donna Aldridge won't do it.
Reverse logic?Every center who plays alongside Aldridge sees his stats jump (rebounding and the exotic newer stats, as I demonstrated above)...Przybilla, Camby, etc. It's because there is so much dirty work available, since prima donna Aldridge won't do it.
Yes, he's good at getting those rebounds that fall into his lap 10 feet out from Lopez, who's under the hoop fighting to deflect it to him.
Someone admitted I'm logical!
