Robin Lopez Is Under-Appreciated

We can immediately see that Robin Lopez was infinitely more valuable than his 11.1 points and 8.5 rebounds per game make him out to be.
Well, maybe not "infinitely". But definitely "more". ;)

Under appreciated? Does that explain that whenever he left the game, being subbed or i. Foul trouble, I cringed that we will lose our momentum?

I totally agree. When Oshey traded for Lopez and T-Rob, everybody was laughing at the Blazers. Who's laughing now bitches?!

The great thing is, Robin Lopez just keeps getting better and better and is young!

Lopez is the least eye-catching player in the starting lineup

Really? I'd say he's the most.

Imagine if he develops offense like his brother..

Oh and regarding the article; It's a piece of shit. Fropez is in a contract year and they're trying to stir up some bull... It didn't even bring up the fact that all of the other starting 5 members had career rebounding years... Weak and sophomoric...

Half the team is in a contract year. Looks like Olshey wants salary cap flexibility for next summer. I was trying to think of a halfway plausible target and the name that came to mind was Marc Gasol. Now THAT would make Lopez feel underappreciated.

(If Rolo can stay consistently healthy, I'm not even sure that Marc Gasol would be a huge upgrade. But I'd still get excited, I must confess.)

Gasol is probably scared to sign here. Zbo has told him stories about people drag racing in downtown with guns in their car, girls being sexually violated in hotel suites and all night parties at houses in West Linn. You know, all the things that made Zbo eventually leave here.

I'd be more worried about what Rudy, Sergio and Victor have told him.

I think Marc would be a HUGE upgrade. I am just concerned about the combination of his health and his salary.

We may have this same conversation with Kaman as well. Aldridge will benefit with 2 legit 7 footers backing him up. Also, I believe Kaman will benefit greatly with Aldridge on the floor too.

Got to agree with you there. Just the little video I have seen over the last few days is looking like Kaman will be a big help. I too agree that in the long run Aldridge will benefit from having another center to rely on.

Lopez is superior to Gortat and he landed a 5/$60m deal this summer.

The market is set. Lopez will get a near max deal if he can produce like he did last year.

Every center who plays alongside Aldridge sees his stats jump (rebounding and the exotic newer stats, as I demonstrated above)...Przybilla, Camby, etc. It's because there is so much dirty work available, since prima donna Aldridge won't do it.

Yes because Aldridge didn't average 10 rebounds a game last season

Yes, he's good at getting those rebounds that fall into his lap 10 feet out from Lopez, who's under the hoop fighting to deflect it to him.

Reverse logic?

Someone admitted I'm logical! This will be my lucky day.

Or not... Your hater glasses are blinding you. He was fighting for rebounds. The "fall in Your lap" idea would have worked if he was getting only 6 rebounds a game. You will get about 3-4 gimmie rebounds. Anyone that gets 9 or more actually work for them. Aldridge almost got 11, while still scoring over 20 a game.

A 7-footer should get 20. That bum needs to get a job.

Speaking of toughing it out, I went to Best Buy last night to replace my Surface power cord after breaking it. Picked up a Sims 4 Prima guide and an impulse purchase, a big TV. Setting it up now.

Okay, Aldridge!! You got it too easy!! Start doing the dirty work!!

Someone admitted I'm logical!

If someone did say that then I would strongly disagree with them. Why would you want your leading scorer exerting all his energy on doing dirty work. Then he would have less energy for what we really need from him. They all have their role. I am not saying LA should not grab 9-10 boards a night, but you seem to be taking a shot at him when he is actually the one that should be applauded for making Camby, Pryz and Lopez look good.
